BMW Turbo Inlet Pipe Install | Burger Motorsports | BMS | n55 m235i

After cracking the turbo inlet pipe on my BMW n55 (m235i), I really wanted the Inlet from Burger Motorsports ( BMS) to work. Honestly I prefer metal in the engine bay over plastic or silicone. I do believe that BMS is a good company and will make the adjustments to this product and hopefully this video helps those of you who get the revised version.

Can someone please explain what the vacuum hose on the chargepipe does? Because it goes strait to the air filter intake tube. Does it not make the car loose boost as some of pressure is going strait in to the air filter pipe?

Hello, I removed the bolt from the turbo it actually has a small hex driver. I made 570 whp with hybrid turbo and 35% blend.

Broke the same spot with the torx screw yesterday! Was it okay driving with it broken or did you hold off till the new inlet came in?

Did you notice a difference in performance with your performance inlet pipe?

Slightly on the higher end under hard acceleration, but nothing major

Did you think about unscrewing the stud so that it clears that section of the pipe and pushes all the way in?

No, there were issues with the gaskets staying in place as well so I just went with MST. I am curious to know someone's experience since making this video and the improvements BMS made.

How much should a shop charge me to replace two turbo inlet pipes, spark plugs and all coils - only needs two coils but figured to replace them all please help! I drive a 2012 BMW 7-Series Li thank you so much

Why did you not remove the bolt?

The bolt is welded onto the turbo

high heat grease will likely cause the orings to fail prematurely, as any oil do on most rubbers. dries it out.
