Beautiful video, excellent shots. The sound of the Urban GS is fantastic: I have the same one and I'm thrilled. I've been on the Stelvio several times and it's always exciting to ride its curves. Good boy!

Wonderful ride. Thanks so much for sharing. I have always wanted a BMW motorcycle. I can finally afford one but wonder if my age and weight would be a factor. I owned a Harley Sportster 3 years ago but it cornered so poorly that riding curves was frightening. Back in the early 1970s my Honda 750 cornered beautiful. I imagine this 1200 BMW would but a smile on this old face of mine? I am not getting any younger so now may be the time! Thanks again for an enjoyable video! Guy USA

Hello Charles and thank you so much for your message, appreciated. The Urban GS is a great motorcycle and the engine is just amazing. The riding position is a bit odd at the beginning. When you get to know the bike, then is great fun... Cornering is so easy! I think you should test ride it! The sound is just pure adrenaline 😄 I had many motorcycles in the past: let me just say that the urban is very cool. Not the perfect bike for touring but the looking and the feelings 👍🏻 Take care and ride safe when you buy it ✨✨✨

Pretty much how I remember my R80GS and R100GS. You could do a pretty rapid scoot through the hills/twisties then go exploring some firetrails as the next day - all on the same bike.

Hi. Enjoyed that. I've been attempting similar videos on my Urban GS down here in NZ but the sound quality has been poor. Can I ask about the set-up used here? And also how you have the camera mounted? I've secured mine to the front mudguard but prefer your angle. Thanks.
@leobond773 жыл бұрын
Hi. Sorry for the delay in answering your question. I followed a tutorial on KZbin about getting the perfect engine sound. You need an external microphone. I used the Zoom H1n: you can get it on Amazon. There are many interesting tutorial you can follow. It's very important to synchronise video and sound afterwards. The GoPro mount is called chesty and I believe is the best mount for biking and cycling. Hope to have answered your questions. Take care and safe rides in your beautiful land. ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼

@@leobond77 is it effective ? and do you recommend it ? i wont drive more than 300 kilometers if i needed to travel on the bike
@leobond773 жыл бұрын
@@FAISAL15S it's a great bike with a great engine. If you travel and you need some proper storage space, there are some good panniers designed for the UGS. Surly it is not a travel bike like the GS or the Africa Twin. There is no proper wind protection but you can drive 300 Kms no stop without problems. It really depends on what you wish. My suggestion is to test drive it... Probably you fall in love with the bike 😀

@gillounet47662 ай бұрын
@paulzeeb85262 ай бұрын
