Love it! Looks very simplistic, and minimal but at the same time very memorable presence. Hope that in production version they won't fill it with unnecessary details, corners. This design is too good to be true.

@@bmwblog yes according to the designer, the Neue Klasse design will only stay at the lower class of the model spectrum, all the way up to 5 series, the 7 series onwards will keep the bold face for distinctiveness

I really like the design of this Neue Klasse X, as well as the Neue Klasse sedan. I’m looking forward to seeing them make it to production in 2025-2026. Great video! Horatiu did a great job of asking the right questions about design, and asking questions about things that many of us SEE in a design, but don’t really have the words to verbalize it and praise or criticize specific aspects of the design.

What about the rear lights? It is not the IX solution from what I gather but I can't see any gap? What happens to the tail lights when it opens?

What about making the front kidney in 3D, so it becomes a protective front bumper that sticks out? It would add to the Vision Neue Klasse's elementary design language, like the aero bumpers we have seen on their beautiful sedan (my favourite).

Love the front, very bmw in both a futuristic and retro way. Unsure about the rear lights, i feel as if they are too long coming towards the centre of the rear, a bit like the current x6. Overall very impressed. Would like to see this specific design language, especially the front, on a saloon. It would have serious e30 vibes (the vision neue klasse saloon misses the mark for me)

They're steady coming up wirh new "visions," meanwhile the refresh of the M8 still hasn't happened. It is LITERALLY the only car in their entire lineup that doesn't have idrive 8 when, as one of BMW's most expensive cars, it should have been the first.

well the next gen of the 8 series would have a similar face to that of the 7 series, albeit more lower and shorter grille, it seems that the next gen car allegedly would based on the 7 series this time, to give Maserati GranTurismo and Bentley Continental GT a serious nightmare

The next Gen 8 series is not designed yet. It's not out until 2030 and it will not be Neue Klasse but rather CLAR. So whoever said it's a Bentley GT, they just don't know

Glad they went back, but I think the 20 teens grill size was ideal. The horizontal kidney grill worked well. Here, I understand why they did it, but the first iterations of this type of grill, the kidney height was about even with the height of the lights. The T shape it makes is akin to the iX, which makes the front look like an animal with big nostrils or big buck teeth.

Def futuristic. I still love the normal designs rn alot more. This will take time to grow on me. Only reason i dont completely hate it is becuase companies like tesla have super ugly blobs of a car and are selling well. Comparing a tesla to this EV makes them look prehistoric

The sedan Vision Neue Klasse 3 looks like a Pontiac, not a BMW ... this Vision Neue Klasse X front end is much better, looking like a classic BMW.... they should stick this front end to the BMW sedans and coupes as well.

Nice design but please keep the Touch Contoller (kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXzQqaWsedqjeas), Gesture Recognition (kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z53bqZ6vlNt9fpY) & Voice Recognition systems in the car allowing navigation in HMI without having to touch any screen (which prevents fingerprints and also increases safety). I don't want my future BMW to have the same user experience as a Tesla Model 3 which requires most of the time to touch the central display !

I have an IX M60 and I absolutely love it. Feel like I need to start with that lol I don't love the kidneys on the IX or this. I prefer the way the sedan looks up front. The screen in this is horrible. Why are we going backwards ? Porsche is going full dash in the Macon / already there in the taycan. Caddy has the lyric starting in the 60k range and that has a beautiful screen. BMW is going almost too simple and taking a step in the wrong direction here in my opinion. The rest of the interior looks great. Maybe I won't do orange seats. But I get it. This is for show. The interior lighting is beautiful. Thank goodness for headrests that don't have a plastic hard piece in the middle that hurts the head if the car is flooded and rocks the passengers head back into the seat. 😮 Overall.. beautiful product. Not everyone will like every feature. We will see pricing/performance/range. That will really determine the sales of this!!
