i rode in a 2016 x1 and it is fucking impressive it can go at 100 smooth and the handling is amazingly good the gas mileage is really good and i can go fast and still have good gas mileage on the highway the seats are luxurious but also sporty i would reccomend this vehicle to anyone in the market for vehicles

X1 service is not expensive 25k-30k for each service. If you are looking at really offroader go for endeavour. I didn't go for service package. My car run only 8to10k per year.

Nice review by Nikhil. Some truths told about the new X1. I test drove it and the seats aren't big enough (I don't know why they gave smaller seats) and the suspension is towards the harder side which does not make riding over potholes a good experience. It has a terrific pick up but is abrupt. Audi on other hand rides little more subtle. X1 looks top heavy as compared to Audi A3 but in all X1 is a pleasure when driving on smooth roads.But yes, plastics in X1 is a challenge. I remember the Safari videos where Tata is always cursed (which is true) for cheap plastics.

If India Eu Fta were to happen and happen well, these cars would be priced around 15-20 lacs on road, what they deserve to be. If you have 36L to spare, buy a Endeavour and put the rest in some thing else. These entry level luxury cars are no better than the partially built in India cars by German or American brands. Buy a VW Jetta if you really want solid built. Or buy the VW mini SUV when it gets launched. If you want to go mainstream, BMWx3 , Audi Q5 (2017), Merc Gle are actual fully optioned cars that one can flaunt.

Well. I have always been a great fan of Audi but after the new x1 was launched. my mind was blown. However i am not gonna buy one of these. Anyone who wants to buy a sub compact suv in india. Just wait till the end of this year .Vw is launching the all new Tiguan and Skoda is also launching Kodiaq. Those cars might not be the most attractive by brand or looks but i can suggest you. You wont regret waiting

This is not the best version of Q3. 220HP is available with sline and luxury package, by far better than BMW without to mention the off road test Audi Q3 came out way ahead from BMW. BMW is far from being a match to Audi Q3. GOOD LUCK WITH BMW SERVICES.
