Exactly the issue! Melted contact! Used a utility knife to cut the melted plastic away. Saved me a ton of money not having to pay BMW repair prices! Thank you!

Thanks, this worked on my X2. BMW quoted over five hundred for light assembly. It's not so much about the cost and more about the fix, satisfaction of fixing something yourself. Great video, thanks again.
