The epoxy I use is from WURTH. But you can use any high quality epoxy from any auto parts store.

Great vid, but have any ideas for a mirror that’s wobbling at the metal twist lock?

Maybe fit a piece of paper behind it and reinstall install it.

What is that cord hanging down behind the mirror?? I have that same cord and cannot tell what to do with it. My mirror came completely off after knocking into it, and once I figured out how to put the mirror back on I now have that cord hanging down.

one plugs into the mirror and the other in to the rain light sensor.

Are you using front facing camera? Because when loosing it in the beginning, you said turn left, but video showed the mirror turning right/anti clockwise

You can turn it any direction. It isn't threaded like a bolt. I prefer counter clockwise upon removal, but I may of switched it up because I was filming to get better angles. Best of luck .

Hi Mike, the mount has come off from its base on my E90 as you mentioned at 3:40...approached quite a few people to fix it, but none has given me a solution....will some glue do the job? kindly help...thank you J Thomas

If the metal mount has come off the glass, then the windshield will need to be replaced.

What did you end up having too do? I live in Texas, which it’s very hot and my metal mount came off of the glass as well. @jt7891 I need help !

Use AralDite Epoxy. I fixed the mount of my BMW using this.

What is the metal base that was on the window/ windshield I need that part but don’t know the name Or part number if anyone can help please do

That part only comes with the windshield. There are glue kits for just this issue at auto part stores.
