BMW X3 cranks but wont start?

Turns out it was the battery. The charge looked fine, but wouldn't crank. New battery and all is well.

Okay try removing your glove box and there is a relay a big relay on the right middle to lower side. I forget what it called but do you know how to test a relay?

Joshua Maynard the fuel pump relay? I recently replaced it I thought that was the problem didn’t work. I also checked the relay it works

I couldn’t see that well but is your check engine light on? Or does it go off? It’s hard to diagnose over the internet lol but I would look at the three main components for starting a car, fuel air and spark. Not sure if you looked at those already. If you did I would get a mechanic close to you to look at your timing or cam sensor. I wish I could I could be more help :(

@@carterxcash No worries! I understand the frustration when folks don't update their videos. I was surprised, too. I know BMW's are known for their massive batteries/power needs, so the fact it was charging and not cranking was interesting. Had to tow it to my mechanic, he did a swap and I was on my way, $350 later...

mine its exactly the same way i replace de battery and start after twoo days battery died and wont strat again even with a new battery i replace the gas pump nope dint work
