I’ve never replaced mine myself. Mine is a year old but I went to check it and found that the right spring screw won’t stay down. It feels stripped. Any thoughts on replacement?

The Twist Lock Fastener for Cabin Air Filter Panel will most likely need to be replaced. The plastic tip that locks it down in place broke! Overtime they get brittle and just break on there own. It's probably nothing you have done. But I would recommend you to replace it, I will provide the product Link so you can purchase another one. Vacuum cleaner, not air spray...

The reason for me using compressed air in a can, is Because a vacuum would scratch the inner area where the cabin air filter will lay! But thanks for the recommendation. If you want to use a vacuum that's totally fine as well.
