BMW X3 [E83] 2004-2010 How to Access & Remove the Spare Tire!

Hey sub family, The BMW X3 tire manufacturer recommends that you do not exceed 50 Mph at any time while operating the vehicle with a spare tire installed. But don't worry if you exceed over 50Mph it shouldn't harm your vehicle or the spare tire, just drive the vehicle Responsibly. And don't have the spare tire on the vehicle too long due to the weight being to much for the spare tire to handle over long periods of time.
Which way does the spare tire go on? The X3 spare tire should always be mounted with the valve stem (the thing you put air into) pointing out. If you cannot see the valve stem, the spare tire on X3 is mounted backwards. In addition, if your X3 has a donut spare (a small spare tire), then you should mount it on one of the rear wheels when you are in a safe area to do so. What is the maximimum speed for a spare tire? If your X3 has a donut spare, the maximum speed is likely 50 miles per hour. Some trucks have full-size spare tires, which would have the same speed limits as the other tires. How many miles can be driven on a spare tire? If it is a donut spare tire, you should not drive more than 50 miles on a donut spare tire.

Thank you. I just hit a pot hole. This vid was extremely helpful. I did have trouble detaching the strap that's attached to my spare. I had to cut it off. It was just taking me too long to get the spare off.

But When Hitting a pothole it can cause bent rims, internal tire damage, alignment problems, and shock and strut issues depending on the severity of the impact. Most of the time it doesn't necessarily mean you'll always puncture your tires or damage your vehicle, but if you have any concerns after the incident my friend, I would definitely get it inspected. But usually you will be just fine. Yeah I definitely understand how long it can possibly take to remove the spare tire and then put it onto the vehicle. It's a time consuming process. Also my friend make sure to not put the spare tire back in the spare tire holder, after cutting the support wire that will have to be replaced before it can be put back into the spare tire tray. Another good video I just got the car so these videos help I have any issue with the drivers door mirror it doesn't close so I bought a new motor for it ,any videos on how to replace it in the near future lol

And yes your absolutely correct my friend it could definitely be the mirrors Motor going out. The motor is located inside, & also the mirrors Motor is made out of plastic and with that being said, the Elements From outside can make that part defective. And can cause the mirrors function to act up in most cases. & Hey my friend thank you for such an amazing idea I will definitely make that video in the near future so make sure you keep the notification bell on my friend. Sure thing my friend i definitely will consider doing that video just for you, I truly wish the videos I made took a couple of minutes my friend. I truly put maximum effort into all my content that I create. It might sound crazy but it takes me 2-3 hours most times to create one video my friend. That's not even including the beforehand preparation like creating a title, Description,Video Planning. Then after that it's making the video,thumbnail & then after all said in done i Edit it ect.. i absolutely love doing each and every one of those things i have mentioned. I truly do all this for you guy's. I hope to build the sub family overtime & I thank you for being apart of the sub family my friend. The support wire that holds the spare tire underneath the BMW X3 E83 is also know as the [Spare Tire Wheel Cable Hoist Carrier] if you cut this Cable Hoist it will have to be replaced In order to put your spare tire back in place underneath the BMW x3 E83. so it can be properly supported and secure underneath the the vehicle. And yes you can replace the Spare Tire Wheel Cable Hoist Carrier. The spare tire carrier is super easy to replace. I recommend you to replace it. It's much needed. You can put the last seven numbers of your VIN into REALOEM.COM for the exact part that's needed my friend. I hope this information helps you. Godbless you
