I did a drive test and discovered that this bushing makes a very small amount of noise. It does not bother me, but my wife does not like it ... I decided to develop another solution to make her happy and to also offer it to others who may not like any noise at all. My kit also does not require removal of the oem bushing. But know that the Einhorn bushing is solid, works well and I love it.

@@Engineerboy100 Cool man, I just drove my new to me X3 M comp. It’s an INSANE car man. Don’t plan on launching it until my kit comes though. BMW did a hell of a job with this thing

Great video Clint! Have you taken it for a drive yet? Do you hear any new noises introduced after installed the solid bushing?

Yes. I hear a whirring whining sound at about 50 mph. It can be heard with the windows up radio off. windows down or radio on I can't hear it. It sounds like a tesla backing up. or R2D2 rolling. It's not overpowering, but it is noticeable. It's a trade off. not as loud as solid aluminum, but now as quiet as oem, ... and not as prone to fail as oem ... line of best fit.

​@@AuReXBoBoif you are hearing thudding noises, it's most likely the driveshaft. The splines need loctite.

Where did you get the tool for front end of the bushing when you were installing the new bushing? The one that goes on the front of the bushing?

Hey, quick question? For the einhorn industry bushing for the x3m, do I need to buy 2 of them or just one? Sorry if it’s a stupid question

For the rear bushing there is only one. I believe they are working on bushings for the front of the differential which will be two.

I would not. The noise bothers my wife and one other guys said it bothered him too. I like the noise ... but if you don't want the noise and you're not pushing 1000 horse power, you can install my Bolt-Saver bushing kit at rennfix.com I should have stock in 3 or 4 weeks.

No, you only need one for the rear.

It's about 3-4hr job, bmw will not do this job. Any indy shop will do it. Probably looking at 300-500 bucks labor
