2020 X3MC 40k Miles Daily it with Boost tune and down pipes e30 700 WHP 30mpg 0 Problems. 0-60 in 3.4 I LOVE MY S58 BMW and Toyota new what they were doing when they built this one. The best engine and final hoorah for the Gas I6 from a legendary car maker.

what does it have to do with toyota? 😀 as far as i know they dont have that engine. supra has B58. and B58 was in F series bmws years before the supra got it.. also, thanks for the info, i am thinking about upgrading my M340i for one of these so that helps 😲

@@clintcarruthers7681 it really wasnt. b58 existed BEFORE they even partnered up, toyota just had some notes for the second revision (335 hp version), but thats it. after that came the next version that is used in cars like M340i G20.. of course S58 is built on B58 base, that's how it works 🙂

Just picked up my 22 X4MC and although the ride is slightly harsh it is a true M car and the handling is superb

Some people have swapped to 19" M3 wheels which supposedly helps the ride A taller tyre profile will definitely make a difference

@@nickandras8241 it really is a fantastic vehicle. It does everything really well. Fast, comfortable, and you can do it all with a washing machine in the back. Reliable as well. X3m is the way to go.

having owned two G01s and an F97... the F97 just wants to go. that's all it wants to do is just go go go. It's almost more of an M car than their M3 ironically because its harsher and more punishing. It's a beast, an insane beast. The G01 can chill, so i went back to that platform but wow the F97 was a weapon

saw one on the road for the first time recently, very impressed with its overtaking prowess, certainly raised my curiosity as didn't even know they did an M version of the X3! For the same performance though was wondering whether there are better options out there on the used market for the same kind of money?

At this level of performance for this price nothing compares. There are a few that can compete in the SUV format but they are more expensive (Macan GTS, some kind of Cayenne or Alfa Stelvio Q4, etc)

Honestly, they're both great. Looks are subjective of course but on that basis it'd be the X3M for me.

I have M340i which is kinda close to G80 M3, and tbh i am eyeing the X3M/X4M because of practicality.. the sedan is still a sedan, so that is something to keep in mind 🙂

timing chains have been in the rear of bmw engines for a long time, shouldnt matter since chains are supposed to not need service. ofc some are gonna stretch over time and you'll have to replace it. But its not that hard of a job really, just takes some time

You should probably mention diff bolts which are an issue. Especially common on 2019-20 cars that have been remapped but also common on cars that have been driven harder. It’s a weak link.

Not necessarily, the x3m is lighter but big enough inside for what some people need and is cheaper. An x5m is just because you cant afford the x7m 🤔 an x7m is just because you couldnt afford a cullinan.... and it goes on and on
