I was rear ended at a stop light and the left quarter panel is popped out and I won’t let the gas cap close do I need to replace it or can it be repaired

They allow you to section the inner panel?

You have to take a corner section off the new panel to fit it in on the procedure. So the my inner panel was fine only the corner section was damaged so I just replaced that. Keeping most of the inner panel original.
