Why is nobody talking about the fact that the Kodiaq ‘only’ has 450kg loading capacity. This is max 4 adults with a bag, if you want to add bikes or any loading you reach max loading capacity very very quickly. It gained 500kg with the IV vs the old model. Basically it comes down to the fact that it cannot be a 7 seater due to max weight

@autogefuehl please, to sum it up, if there's not an issue with money, which one would you choose, with diesel engine? I'm more keen to bmw X7 40d but i didn't like the seats that were hurting my butt and also the AC system is anemic.

X7 interior is the best! It even blows the MB interior out of the water. BMW knocked it out of the park!

Because price is affecting 95% of us normal buyers, I would choose the Kodiaq. It’s budget when considering just the price but it jumps to premium class when evaluating what it offers. As soon as VW Group wakes up and finally understands to offer 4x4 PHEV I would buy one.

@@autogefuehl I definitely will (do). What I really want is a new Cayenne Hybrid with animal free seats. The animal free seats in the Macan were superb….amazed they haven’t expanded it to all other models.

Cheers! Yeah indeed, for the Cayenne you can only go GTS for Racetex and Sports Lightweight Pack for the Papita seats, plus racetex steering wheel. But they will never be animal free since you at the same time extend the animal leather content on dashboard, inside of the doors, outside seats etc. - Porsche logic.

If you ever go an drive the Model X and then drive the EV9 you realise the build quality and the road noise from tyres is insane in the Tesla. Its and old car and it shows. Also the seating space does not really compare to the EV9 to be honest. 3rd row is cramped for children while EV9 suits tall adults in the 3rd row

BMW has stolen the interior design from Mercedes Benz. I never will understand, who came up with the idea to design the front part as BMW has done. I would instantly fire the designer! No sense of proportions and aesthetics! But people are buying it. But
