Many people say to avoid the early z3 automatic transmissions. It’s a sports car, just go for manual stick shift.
@Phoenixette Жыл бұрын
I get why they say that. I mean it is a 4-speed auto from GM. That being said… I can’t drive stick lol

I got the 2.5i Manumatic (Basically, you can still shift, but no clutch if you move the shift to the left) - Still fun, fast and good car.

I really appreciate your honesty. And I have to agree: it is a lot of money to "waste" but it has helped you deal with stress and, compared to meth, it is a much better thing to spend money on. When it comes time to sell, you will probably get back your purchase price.

Thank you for that. I will say, I’d rather spend the money on the car than meth to say the least lol. But I will say that, in a normal car environment, had I bought a newer BMW, I think I probably would’ve lost more in depreciation and higher insurance

The Z3 does that. It’s one of my favorite things about it. It shows that driving experience doesn’t always equal speed

Purchasing a car regardless of make model new old it is a gamble. I make the choice and just get on with it. All the same, thanks for sharing your experiences. I can relate to some of the issues you had, all the same it, has not stopped me enjoying the drive, hope the same for you.

You make a good point. It’s good to know I’m not the only one having these issues. Regardless, I’ve also enjoyed the Z even if it can be a diva lol

Glad to hear your friend is enjoying it. How’s the Z4? Is it different compared to the Z3?

The Door Handles on mine did the same thing. I used JB weld and it's been holding for about a year. Give it a try.

I see. One of my buddies ended up plastic welding it for me and it came out really well

I can’t say if you should get one or not but I will say that there are still a lot of pros of having one but also a lot of cons. Don’t let my one video sway your opinion. There are a lot of Z3 owners all over KZbin. I recommend watching more than just this and thinking about if you still want one.
