Thanks for the video has helped me a lot. So I got most of the parts you listed, My 98 Z3 2.8 auto to manual, missing crossmember and flywheel, clutch fork and Im still in need of the transmission, if you still have the getrag I could come pick it up since I’m south of you on I-95. Well id like to convert my standard Z3, 1.9 to automatic transmission. 1997. Is it possible ????

Anything is possible, you’ll be in for a ton of work. The assumption is your not interested in selling to buy one that is already automatic, which is the easy option. Conversion to auto would mean you will need to find a wire harness from auto car to swap in. Not sure if the 1.9 auto had trans oil cooler, if so, have to source that. Control unit and then all the other transmission components… best bet would be having a donor car otherwise you’ll be hunting parts for some time. Possible but quite difficult

convert a manual to auto?? it's a sports car. learn to drive manual. would lower the resale and ruin the car with an auto in it.
