In this video, we review the 2024 BMW M8 Competition. The 617 horsepower BMW M8 featured a beautiful San Marino Blue color with a red interior. In the review we talk about the car's design, exterior and interior, about its performance and daily driveability, and then we pick up BMW Pro Driver Bill Auberlen to go for a ride.

Bought 2024 M8 GC and I'm really enjoying it. It is a missile and eats miles. Very comfortable, while turning in well for such a big car.

I got a ride along with Bill Auberlin in an M3 Comp Xdrive at Sonoma last year, and it was insane the type of speeds he was carrying and the ease with which he made it move around while casually talking. Gave me an idea how fast my own car can be driven by a legendary driver with no care for the cost of tires or brakes. That was a great experience.

Almost bought one. Probably the best looking car in the lineup and a v8 BUT the rear seats are so useless (standard coupe) it might as well be a two seater. When I say useless, I mean less room than a 230/240. The depreciation is staggering too, makes it worth buying used.

I think they should've just stopped on M850i just like they stopped on X7 m60i. Some models that have a whole design around being GT or utilitarian should not be full blown M cars.

The manufacturer is trying to drum up sales of this old model. The interior tech is behind the times relative to the other models in the lineup. Nothing new to see here and sales results are indicative of same. They think people are ignorant but not for the folks in the market for this type of car. There are too many other cars in this market segment that are much newer.

BMW M8 is a great GT car and very capable; sad thing BMW gave up its DCT and uses the ZF Auto, which is less thrilling - Also the fake sound is horrible, please stop doing that. Cheers

@@bmwblog I take the DCT over the very generic ZF, but I understand manufacturers try to outsource to save some money 💰 I know that ZF is not bad but it’s just less exciting, the way the DCT puts in the gears ⚙️ especially when you have a modified exhaust system ist just ahhhhhhh But hey 👋🏼 escalate have different taste. So I don't hate BMW's but i have to say now BMW's are getting boring because bmw uses 4.4L twin turbo v8 all the time the m5 have it and m8,x5m,x6m,XM and the next gen m5 and m8 will have it too what i learned from this is that bmw can't make a more powerful engine than that v8 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 i know i know they are super fast but still 👎👎 come on BMW do better make a super car or a hyper car

This engine has endless potential and with minor tuning option the car goes above 800-900 hp. There is plenty of potential with the platform it has. BMWNeeded to have a decent enough segment for this car. Anything with more power would be a lot more expensive and would reduce the marketability of the vehicle. To focus on more power and to complaining about it is merely being a bit difficult; especially when talking about a car that is faster from 0-60 than a Z06 Corvette, a Porsche GT-2 RS, Ferrari 458, Ferrari F8 and many others. Tell us what would be satisfactory for you or better yet; find one that would fit your specifications and enjoy it.

@@t3drill Your right but I am just mad because AMG built a hyper car and some super cars. I love BMW's i just want bmw to build a super car looking model. Maybe we just have to wait and see in the future
