I seem to remember that the GS trophy used to be ridden with R1200s over brutal terrain. Weird to see a Longcin engine being used for a BMW marketing gig.

Why so little content, we barely see the riders and get absolutely no fell for the event. I like the presenters 👍 but lets see the teams as well, they are after all the main event. Guess the point is I want moooore 😁

I had no idea that pulling a BMW out of light gravel was a skill GS riders practice! Amazing strength! One idea? maybe try riding the bike with the motor running it would work better that way! Also, I didn't see any 'off road' in this video? 50/50 on road off road the man and lady said. All I saw was normal roads??

How can I sign up to help shoot this in the future? Looks like a second camera would be useful.

Do these bikes at this event also lacks the Brembo calipers up front? If so, why has BMW gone CHEAP with this poorly thought out caliper replacement option to save money?!

Amazing event spoiled by having yanks who can’t pronounce local city name comparing it, that female high pitched whiney voice is annoying after a short time. Where is team NZ and where is team BBW, oh and over here we spell tyres with a Y

This is so stupid, it reminds me of "Survivor". Who in the world ever thought that a 1250 cc, 500+ pound bike would make a good off road enduro mount? Absolutely Ridiculous!
@rememberhonor4 жыл бұрын
This is an F850GS, but you can ride an R1200 almost anywhere if you're actually skilled.
@nblackmore4 жыл бұрын
@@rememberhonor Yes, Extremely skilled riders can ride a GS1250 off road. Like the riders in the GS Trophy, but it still makes no sense to me. Why would anyone want to do that? I grew up riding off road on a Cam Am 175 then 250. Those were real off road bikes, not heavy street bikes with high fenders. I do think that the GS bikes are fantastic adventure bikes; you can go down a fire trail, or dirt road, if you see one, But riding a ISDT event on a heavy road bike (with high fenders) is just plain ridiculous.
