CUSTOM BMX BIKE PAINT JOB GOES HORRIBLY WRONG!! CAMO DIY PAINT JOB IS HARDER THAN IT LOOKS!! I STARTED WITH SPRAY PAINT RATTLE CANS ON THE BMX FRAME USING A WHITE A GREEN AND A BROWN AND SOME STENCIL SHAPES! THEN IT JUST TURNED TO MUSH!!
NOW IVE RECOVERED THE BMX FRAME PAINT BY HITTING IT WITH A SICK PURPLE COLOUR! THANKS FOR WATCHING BMX RIDERS!!

You should of lacquered it with either a gloss or Matt finish depending on what look your going for, You can even get glitter lacquer!! But it would help protect the paint from chipping so easily

okay so I can see where you went wrong what you needed to do was spray it one colour stick small irregular shapes down on the bike then paint the whole bike a 2nd colour then stick irregular shapes on again then spray the whole bike a 3 rd time so once the shapes are then peeled off you would have had 3 layers of paint showing through. I thick masking tape would have worked well for this to peel off.

dang it this reminded me i was supposed to prep my fixed gear earlier to be painted lol,i forgot cus i got out later on it than i originally wanted. guess i can do it tommorow morning, just need to strip before prep and paint it. paint is coming off in a few spots so may as well mix it up eh lol. i had the same thing happen also tryna do cammo in 2011 so i feel ya but didnt use any paint like i did on my other bike i just did a month or two ago. nor any cardboard for the design. funny enough im going for purple also haha only because i have a half a can and a full from my last recent use whenever it was the last few monnths. ive been a purple bike fan since 08 when getting my dk rage. also the cammo i used looked about tor the same from the day after as yours haha.

No hate towards Harry, been watching his channel for years but any time he paints something I can’t bare to watch 🤣 seat post clamp wasn’t removed so the original colour will still be underneath and he never lacquer’s anything!! So many people don’t realise the importance of lacquer 🤦🏻‍♂️ then it should be left at least 24 hours to harden before reassembling. Still love watching the channel regardless 🤘🏻

There are plenty of channels and videos to see the proper way to do things, this is not that channel and that is why I watch it. Harry has a way of making wrong come out right. It's all about liv'n the dream. I know what you mean about hating to watch and it is not just painting, it's kind of like watching a car wreck, you can't turn away.
