The fact that he’s so gentle with the kid, so that way she doesn’t feel uncomfortable around an older guy is probably more than any other person has like ever done. Almost every other old man actor is so forcibly physical with younger actors or actresses and it’s super unsettling but the way that Bo is super nice and less physical is super comforting for some reason

the last part where he’s so fakely talking about how much he loves his audience while swinging around a knife and pointing it at the viewer with the royalty free upbeat ukulele track in the background......literally how all channels on the trending page sound. those channels give me such bad predatory vibes that i don’t know how anyone can enjoy their content. even if the content is technically good, those vibes whenever they address their audience feel so intimidating and almost threatening but like in the way a southern mom would - with a wide smile and backhanded compliments.

Okay as someone who had grown up in Tennessee in one of the only really big cities here, you talking about southern moms is literally so fucking true! Backhanded complements galore! One of the things we all say (yes even me) is “Bless your heart.” When you say that it means either one of two things. 1) I’m sorry and I hope things get better soon. Or 2) Sarcastically and it means like “oh you dumb person you are so stupid.” Also because I’m in the Bible Belt if you dress differently then the “typical acceptable southern women” like I do you get backhanded compliments. My personal favorite I’ve gotten is when I dyed my hair bright purple and people said to me “Wow that must have been a hard choice to stand out like that!” I had to stop myself from bursting out laughing. Now though most people my age (I’m almost 21) who are in my social groups, meaning the lgbtq community dress really differently and alternative like I do as well. We get stares when we all go out. We look like My Little Pony characters surrounded by the country boy and girl looks. It’s wild.

Bo doing the "KZbinr thanks audience" bit while holding the Knife was fucking amazingly funny, immensely horrifying, and artistic genius at the same time. Summed up how awkward they are for the creator, but also the feeling that if you stop watching, I'll hurt you or myself, so you better keep watching, cause my well being is all on you! Thats a really interesting viewpoint. I've been trying to figure out the knife scene. Every time I see it it scares the shit out of me. I thought it was about contrasting happy with scary to give the viewer a conflicting feeling, sort of the surprise element bo is known for. This is part of why I wish he would do an interview - but he hasnt done one single one since inside dropped. Really interesting scene for sure.

Thanks for all the support on Part 1! Watching “Inside” was a life-changing experience and I just needed to make more Bo content. Let me know what you want to see me make next. Stay amazing! :) Edit: KZbin gave me a copyright claim so I had to mute the Inside clip from 0:50 - 1:06 in order to keep the video visible. Sorry about that. Hopefully, it's not too annoying. inside was also super life changing for me. he articulated certain feelings that ive never been able to, and made them so clear so that others could understand, and now i have some tools to explain them too. i’m just amazed at how he can do that, he’s a true artist in every sense of the word

Idk if others have mentioned this for the last clip (Inside scene w/ Bo holding the knife) but it feels like he's holding us hostage like "Keep watching, or else :)" sort of thing and it also plays into the whole facade of many big KZbinrs who exploit others for their own gain by doing dangerous things. (Inside is a masterpiece and I'm happy to have discovered Burnham 'cause of it)

Actually every single transition song in the entire special was the opening song done slightly differently. I first noticed during the faux twitch stream where the ambient game background music was also the opening song too and I was like :o :O!!!

It wasn’t just quarantine, he mentioned in “inside” that he started to have anxiety attacks on stage. It led him to stop preforming and to get really depressed. Quarantine definitely didn’t help, but it wasn’t what caused his downward spiral.

Thank you! I really hoped people would understand that I'm not trying to "steal" from Bo. I'm just trying to get people interested enough to go watch Inside. I even put the text over it so people would know where its from and be less likely to "steal" it. I link every source in the description and pinned comment too. I'm always trying to promote and hype up creators I care about, not "steal." I appreciate your comment! :)
