I've watched Bo over the years and what a great example of the need to be in tip-top shape and physically fit condition. Watching Bo winning his matches against opponents who looked more muscley than him is so much enjoyable.

You're confusing "size" with thickness. Bo is long 6'2, the other guy is around 5'9-5'10 stocky build. Size wise, they are the same. A taller guy has more leverage and reach. Shorter guy has better power in close quarters and maybe hand fighting.
