Shotguns are overpowering, but underpowered overall. OHK weapons generally need to be neutered a bit to ensure they're not overused.

I agree. Ahoy and Amish are the only COD channels that I still watch their videos. When I stopped playing the game, I stopped watching the vids. But for some reason I stuck with those two.

A more experiments have been done which showed that internal clocks only shift by about an our or so. Normally to a 25 hour day. Surely these people would have had lights, which were turned off at night, so they slept like normal. They would also probably have been fed at set times, which helps us keep a steady sleeping rhythm. I wouldn't trust that experiment you heard about. The chilean miners also kept a pretty normal sleep wake cycle.

Good luck with the FHJ-18, Stu. Relying on people to get Dragonfires, Lodestars, VTOL Warships, and then an AGR can take a lot of patience. Well, for me it took a while at least; as I was gilding it alongside the LMG Class weapons (I got the Mk.48 and LSAT gilded, and I got a little way through with the HAMR in roughly the same time frame). I must say I felt a massive sense of accomplishment when I finished it,

I stuck an FHJ into every class I had in order to get it gilded, and I think it took me about three long days of play to complete. I was lucky, however; my teammates were often terrible and I got dropped into several games-in-progress that were being dominated by a team with VTOLs and Lodestars.

Yeah the S12 definitely needs a range or damage buff. It's still great as a backup, for raiding a room or spraying hopefully in panic situations, but it's kind of rubbish if you try to use it as your primary weapon.

Yes, I got stuck on the dragonfire for a little over a whole prestige.... it just seemed no one was calling them in for about a week. They're a little more common since the patch before last, so hopefully you'll get lucky. :)

I completely agree with this. Shotguns are not overpowerED. Up close, if you do not die, the shotguns are not doing their job. they CANNOT hit you outside of spitting distance, thus making them largely underpowered if you think about it. They do their job and nothing more. They are just more viable because the maps are smaller and more dense.

For me that thing is a special case. Sometimes I struggle to kill much of anything, other times 1-2 shots suffices almost every time. I find that using Long Barrel, Laser Sight and Fast Mags solve most of my problems with it, and then I bring it out on maps where I know I can be dangerous. In my opinion, a little too inconsistent to make a clear call of underpowered or not.

Stu, you've had some awesome clips in your weapon guides over the years, do you have any footage you're particularly proud of? Some insane kill, crazy killstreak or the like, maybe you could show it in the video?

I use the same attachments, and it works well that way, at least for me. However, in a basic, no attachment comparison to the other shotguns, it suffers. The M1216 is pure spam, so it works, the R870 (no comment), the KSG is pretty good with nothing, if you can aim, but the S12 tries to be a mix of the M1216, and 870, and it lacks the strength of the 870, or the spam-ability of the 1216 (since its semi-auto).

As far as I'm concerned using no attachments on any of the shotguns is not going to end well. They rely a lot on the bonuses the attachments offer, particularly Laser Sight and Long Barrel. Therefore, a no attachments comparison becomes a tad meaningless in my opinion. With attachments I prefer it to the M1216. The KSG is hard to compare to, and the Remington is obviously a bit better, but hey. It still works.

about your sleeping pattens, i heard of this experiment a bunch of sicentices did. they lock them self in a room with no windows and no clocks with no clocks (they were given items so they didn't go crazy; books, movies etc) and after a few weeks they switched to 30 hour days 20 awake 10 sleep, i find that interesting and would like it if that actually happens, days just feel to short

I think the semi-auto shotguns need a buff of some kind. Slight range and damage increase because right now they have no advantages compared to the R870 and KSG.

Well Stu, i hope your Tac-45 guide impresses me :) I currently have 24,800+ kills with the FNP-45 (Tac-45) and it is the ONLY gun I have used, I am currently 10th prestige, with an overall K/D of 1.57. Not a single kill with any other gun. I do believe I have the most kills with the Tac-45 on XbL, if anything I think I could give you some tips :P
