I actually like that she sucks at English. It gives her character and makes her seem more human. It does not matter if her English is perfect. Who's perfect anyway? LOL. BoA is the best dancer in the world. She makes it look too easy. What I see in America is this: wow! she is good! Later it's like this: I saw the most amazing dancer today. @thedirtman00 I agree that her use of English gives her character, that's one of the things that I like about her. One of my favorite Japanese singers is Chihiro Onitsuka, and she has a very unique voice that sounds like it doesn't work well for English, but I love the way she sounds in her English music, it's a big part of her character.

THANK YOU! I am glad you said it. I have so much respect and AWE for Boa. I am from the USA. I am currently learning japanese. She is very impressive to master all these languages, especially when you get older, and be successful in each culture. What I have found is that americans are overly judgmental and rude to asians. Brittany Spears says "yeeaa" alot but you dont see people getting all racist. Most people worldwide cant speak TRUE proper english either. So why abuse asians about it?racist!

Okay, you try to learn Japanese, Korean, and French. When you're fluent, then you can come back and mock her English, which by the way, is the hardest language in the world because of so many words meaning different things, one word can be read three different ways, you have to learn which way is polite, which way isn't. She's doing wonderful here.

Considering Americans themselves don't know how to use proper English, I don't think judgment on her is justified. People speak poor English all the time. I hear girls saying the word "like" as if that word is a lifesaver. Tons of people say "you know" every sentence. This is what I hear from even native Americans. "I just umm, you know, like, happened to be just, ummm, good" BoA has talent with lingual abilities imo. Once she comes to US and performs here more, she'll be fluent.

??? the interviewer's rude? i dont think he's rude. i just think he is trying to do is help her with her pronounciation. and not everybody can understand accents even though i completely understood her. theres a chance that someone is watching the interview and might not understand her. and besides, if someone is learning a foreign language, it helps them improve if they talk with locals. i think he's just trying to help her. no hate please :)

I dunno, sometimes english words/names are changed in foreign languages because of difficulty in pronounciation. Jess is way too different from Jackson to be a mistake. japanese have difficulty pronouncing multiple consonants together, in this case its three, jaCKSon.
