Can't believe I have played two games on this list 🤯. Connor I am so bad at making myself play board games so this list definitely helps with what I should try. Ngl I kind of want to try out Ahoy. Maybe whenever I eventually visit New York one day we can meet up and you can force me to play a board game again.

Had a similar time as you with hues and cues, got it to play with the kids in the family but found most of us getting stuck for clues. Highlights for us this year would be Coup, Deception: Murder in Hong Kong and Obscurio. Out of Root and Ahoy, which is easier to learn? Both seem interesting but which is better to start with?

@@adamtassell2919 I have Deception, but haven't played it yet. I've heard really good things though so I'm excited to get that one to the table. Ahoy is easier to learn than Root, but you could probably start with either. If you're playing with kids I would start with ahoy and work your way up to Root! Root has a large learning curve due to each faction behaving completely differently. The factions in ahoy do different things, but don't fundamentally feel different than the other factions if that makes sense. Thanks for watching 🙏🙂
