Larry Jex yeah, it's much better than playing with a group. Easier to think of code words when it's just two people

Agreed. It is an interesting twist. They've included a map, so you can play this as a "campaign" if you choose. Always on the look out for great two-player games. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for making this playthrough. I love the original codenames and your demo shows that this plays so quick, so I think it would be perfect as a filler at my board game meetups when there's a couple of us waiting for a new group game to start up. One question - in the original game, the clue giver is supposed to remain stoic when placing the correctly guessed agent cards as this gives extra information esp when your partner lucks out and gets the right card for the wrong reason. Obviously you guys were having fun and high-fiving. Do you think this rule isn't necessary when you aren't playing in teams vs each other? Thanks again and good luck growing the channel.

Thanks for commenting, Moochbert. :) Ya, we chattered more in this video than we should have. Just enjoying the game too much. Stoicism from the clue giver would be more prudent. But we do think this is great "filler mini game" between or before longer sessions. Let us know how it goes.
