Incorrect. The castle is still dark. There's just a light source inside that parts some, but not most, of the darkness around.

Might be, a slight bit, obsessed with the series, sorry for pushing that onto you, but how do they tend to say in the horror genre, I have passed on my curse, or something 😂 but in essence, he is darkness and the fear thereof, and there's a very good episode in the Magnus Archives discussing how light is just a distortion of a naturally lightless world allowing us faulty vision

His explanation was that you get their specific die, and their stats is basically how many of each is on the die, it seems. So, high stats in one means you're more likely to roll that stat.

There are some choices, which tend to be a weaker safe option e.g. gain 1 hp or a riskier option like roll for Might and heal 3hp if you succeed or lose 1 hp if you fail.

It’s not totally untrue what you said. There are some choices you can make with item cards, and when to use them or how to manage resting during a combat session. It’s all about surviving to end.

I am always upset when a game uses the word "dice" for the *singular*. The word "dice" is *plural* people! Use the word "die" for the singular! I had been kinda interested in the game but then it did that to me...

"Die" in a game where there is stuff that kills would get confusing fast.

@@WolfLykaios Considering the game ends immediately if ANY character is killed the word "die" should never come up on any cards not dealing with the ones you roll and it should be easily understood from context which version of the word is being used even if it doesn't refer to the singular of dice.
