A lil controversy : Jeff got a point on his physical weight guess of Seaside even though he was over. Could've change the whole momentum of the challenge for Jamie, smh

Yeah, I call shenanigans on that. #teamjamie

Take 10 random games from each of your top 100. Look up the mechanisms assigned to those games in BGG and see if you can guess what game it is based on mechanics alone. You can get three life lines to use throughout the top 10: Year published, Game Artist, and BGG rating (not ranking) and alternative lifeline could be “are there expansions?”….. most to guess right wins, whoever used fewer life lines breaks ties

Finally, a video that explains the difference between _mass_ and _weight_ in terms I understand!

That was fun!....especially being able to play along. I have an idea for a game. You could play guess the BGG ranking. Choose games not in the top 100, so it wouldn't be too obvious. And maybe nothing lower than top 500, so it isn't too difficult. Then, after making a guess, get 1 point if you're in the correct century, 1 point if you are within the correct 50 of that century and an additional 2 points if you are in the correct decade as well. For example, the game is Radlands. Your guess is 175, it's currently ranked at 179, you would get all 4 points. 100 it correct century, your answer is in the top 50 within that century and your guess was in the 70's which is also the correct decade. If your guess was 150, you would have only received 2_points. Just an idea!😁

SO funny, I have been saying almost every video that Jeff doesn't wear his hat backwards anymore I wonder why... and then he does and talks about it too haha! Yes you look good with backwards hat imo

Totally should have taken out some components in one of the boxes, then been like you guessed correctly, too bad the actual weight includes these missing components 😂

Very entertaining! And don’t listen to the backwards hat haters, Jeff. You know who else wore a backwards hat? Ken Griffey Jr, and he is one of the GOATs. You’re in good company.

You guys are hilarious as always! But my brain was so thrown off with bringing metric decimals to an imperial weight. Or were the decimals ounces? Like 4.3lbs = 4lbs 3oz? Beeteedubs, Jeff was over on Seaside but you counted it as points for him. FOR SHAME!!

I can't remember if you own this game or not, but I was waiting for one of you to pull out Foundations of Rome. Especially right after a really small game like Sea Salt and Paper.

Awesome challenge game, but I would make it clear that BGGs weight is based on difficulty and complexity not actually scale weight. There are many people that think BGGs weight is scale weight until they look into the meaning.
@FostertheMeeple7 ай бұрын
I mean. A quick google can fix that. Don’t think we need a disclaimer

I dont want to perpetuate american stereotypes but I thought Canadians use the metric system. Am I wrong?
@FostertheMeeple7 ай бұрын
Funnily enough, we use both depending on the variable discussed. Example: lots of Canadians will use metric for say, temperature. But use imperial for weight.

Surprised me with the imperial weights, I'd always thought Canadians used metric (the correct measurement system 😋).

So weird because we do for most things but because a lot of our products come from America we use lbs for weight but we use KM instead of miles.. and Celsius instead of Fahrenheit.. very weird haha
