This is an excellent video... I have been wondering how this system works. A good and no nonsense approach to the drive system. Please keep track of part numbers and where to get these parts. Again great video and wonderful workmanship.

Thank you so much for this video! I am building stretched schwinn mtn bike/board track racer based on a schwinn wayfarer frame that has been extremely reinforced, (I actually cut all the tubing from another frame in half like a clamshell and welded over the stretched schwinn frame) with a predator 212 engine. I was trying to figure out my drive train, and this video basically explained everything I needed to figure out. It was very much appreciated.

There are a few places. You can find them sometimes on the bay. Harley has decent frames and Worksman - Sportsman Flyer frames are available too. There have been a lot of suppliers that disappear after a while so you have to keep an eye out for a legit supplier.

What chain are you running to the rear sprocket? 415 or 420? I can find freewheel sprockets for the jack shaft but they all take 420 chain the rear sprockets take 415 chain.

So what about bike pedaling, are there any issues say if the engine running and you wanna pedal, also what about engine off. Are there any draw backs, or issues with pedaling? Thanks 😊
@EDGClassics
@EDGClassics Жыл бұрын
There are no issues with pedaling. You can pedal start the motor or you can pedal5(3 bike down the road if the engine is not running. You can pedal with the engine running but the motor pushes it well enough that you really done need to pedal. Back pedal for rear brake.
