I love that you always have something to talk about.and that you fill the blank spaces and do not say here is another card and another and a mini and another. Love your style, keep it up.

Your unboxings are my favourite unboxings. If I’m watching an unboxing of a game I’m interested in, I’m there to see the components, not hear about how it plays (there are other things for that, like reviews and gameplays). But with yours I get bonus conversational content as well. I often watch unboxings of yours for games I’m not interested in just for the ramblings.

That video took a chaotic turn. I love to see you respond to the chaos. Calm, cool, collected, yet you can tell something is distracting. A nice peek behind the curtain but also lets everyone know how you respond when things get a bit dicey. I bet you make a great manager if you’re ever in that role. Definitely good dad qualities.

I like your unboxings Alex. The anticipation of just never knowing where the conversation is going to go makes it interesting! I love SFB and have the first Season in the big box, which most people seemed to dislike? I like the storage system, even if Force of Nature and the neoprene mat have to live outside of it. Unfortunately I got into the game after the Season 2 campaign had ended and so didn't back this. I had tried to tell myself that I didn't need another 6 characters but I am not sure that I am listening!? They are amazing figures to paint and I agree that the tokens need to be painted for them to be practical. I enjoyed painting it all up and look forward to painting the season 2 minis....if I buy them......when I buy them?!

Those are some dope minis. And, the compromise I’ve made with myself over my Cthulhu: Death May Die minis is to eventually teach myself how to do washes in emulation of Awaken Realms’ Sundrop style, tho probably I’d want Cthulhu to be an Emerald drop and Fire Vampires Ruby drops and so on and such. And, well… while I agree that times of peace can see minor disputes become outsized, and while I think that war can bring some citizens together, the volunteer army of the US results in even less people feeling connected to any of the many war fronts and bombing grounds that the US has targeted in the last twenty years. Still, I am also not advocating for re-enacting the draft, either…. 😅

With wave 2 we are getting close to enough minis to fill up the big white box with a custom insert so now it will actually be an ok design... As long as the gametrayz are discarded. 😅

Waiting for wave 2. Once it arrives I'll redo the insert on the wave 1 big box, throw away the gametrayz and make a custom insert to store it all. I can imagine there will be inserts to buy that will do the same thing a couple of months after wave 2 delivers.

The game Whistle Mountain seems interesting to me but people say that it’s weight is mid to heavy and that it might cause AP. How heavy do you think it is? Does it’s weight lie somewhere in between Wingspan & Terraforming Mars?

Oh it's very ap prone for sure, not even a question. There are people I won't play it with.

I've played both. The AP prone will be AP prone, imo. I'm unfortunately AP prone as I found out as I joined groups as covid lifted. WM is much more interactive in that you compete in worker placement and scaffolding. However decisions seem simpler. TM Is much more complicated and more AP prone especially if you draft. TM is a multi-player brain burner ever time, imo. I hope that was helpful, regardless enjoy gaming! Stay safe everyone!

The current shipment of Round 2 (and the R1 reprints) aren't set to get to backers until February (for North America at least). So retail stores should get them around March.
