I think I missed this somehow! For the record, the origin of the logo dragon's name, Dargon, is that we had made some plush dragons one time, and the manufacturer printed "DRAGON" on the side of the boxes they were sent to us in, only they misspelled it "DARGON," and we decided to make that the mascot's name!

Kings of Air and Steam is right up amongst TMG's best games, for me. Pick up and deliver, asymetric powers, scales from 2-7 (seriously)....

Great video again. Advice: Compressing the mic volumes between the murphs and steph is sorely needed on these videos. Stephs mic is constantly distorting when she jumps up in volume and starts to switch from talking to almost yelling. Ultimately she needs a better mic, but in the meantime compressing her audio will help it be easier to listen to (even though it won't remove the distortion).

Crusaders: Thy Will Be Done is a really good TMG title. The deluxe edition is great. Orléans is a classic.

Holy crap what happened to Belfort? First worker placement game I’ve ever played. I remember it was fun. Also surprised eminent domain is not on here. Especially good with 2 players.

Interesting that the list shows that TMG largely excels at acquiring quality licenses when it comes to titles that are popular with gamers, and less so at in-house development, as only a couple games mentioned are actually TMG games. If we look at the BGG top 10 portion of this show, Belfort (which came in at #9) is the only TMG-developed game in their BGG top 10! Not that this is bad, as I love many games they license, but I found it interesting.

As the guy who was in charge of almost all of TMG's imports for the past ~6 years, thanks! (Sincerely) Though I should note that if you don't include Orleans, I think Dungeon Roll, Harbour, and Scoville (all TMG originals) out-sell everything else on the list.

@@andyvz Yeah, it also makes sense that BGG rankings often don't coincide with sales numbers. I know Dungeon Roll has sold a ton to a more casual audience, whereas it's not going to get much love on a top 10 list put together by gamers.

MIke and Nick, I'd recommend just getting the original version of Yokahoma Duel. You can get it from MeepleSource and since you guys want things that are small that you can travel with, the box size for the original version is perfect for that. The TMG deluxe version looks nice but it's not going to be as portable :) Steph, if i ever run into you around NH/MA I'll be sure to grab you to play it, i have the original on my shelf and love it.

Yokohama Duel: there are 2 great full play videos on you tube! I backed it on Kickstarter and I do prefer it to Ypkohama because it is so much more stream lined. Belfort: 10th Anniversary is coming out this year. It was also on kickstarter.
