Yes, it's me again, "Ridge Wallet Girl" that's what I've decided to name myself since my first ever comment to you guys was asking about the wallet and how can I protect my card from deactivating on board; I think I asked this last year, not sure xD Anyway, I've been around ever since! I just got finished watching this entire video with my boyfriend and you guys, I'm not even joking, he was hinting around at taking me on this ship one day and proposing, and he started to get a little frisky with me as well even. The little devil. THAT IS HOW AMAZING YOUR VIDEOS ARE. Quality, editing, and just all around good vibes and feels. It made us feel as if we were right there with you. Really truly did. My favorite line is Viking and watching you do the ship tour is really wonderful. We were booked on the Venus in July in the Baltic before it was cancelled. We absolutely love the Explorer's Lounge any time of day or night, beautiful scenery and a great place at night to have a drink and relax. I love the food and specialty restaurants on board and usually eat in Manfredi's at least every other night. The food on Viking is always amazing, never had a bad moment on Viking in four cruises.

Totally agree, Explorer's Lounge it is. Upper level, middle L-shaped sofa. I'm already worried about our 2023 Tokyo-Vancouver cruise on the Orion. I think the planetariums are a waste of prime real estate on deck 8 AND deck 9. Any experiences?

@@grossermichl We sailed on the Orion in 2019 in Australia and New Zealand and it was great. I really liked the planetarium since we has an astro physicist on board as the presenter of all things having to do with the sky etc. We used the planetarium two or three times for that and then they also showed some special showings of nature programs. I was really surprised when I first saw the planetarium, but, it turned out well.

We boarded the Venus on 29 May. Like all Viking ships she is beautiful. Every crew member we encountered was charming and helpful. Lastly, there is no casino, no art auctions, no photographer, no shop sales tables - hurrah!

Thanks Guys - this was beautiful. We've been doing Celebrity the last few years, but this truly seems to be a step above and truly ALL inclusive. The price tag may be a little more expensive, but in the end looks like you get what you pay for and we are at that stage in our life where we want quality not quantity. Viking, here we come.

at first glance, Viking looks good - but if you're used to Celebrity, don't change - our experience on Viking was awful in just about every way - better alternatives are Ponant if you like ships with great style and special destinations, or Azamara intensive destinations and great comfort (not the most modern ships, though)

Just make sure you do your research about the ship and the destinations. I loved my Viking cruise to Cuba, but I also understand that there are a lot of people who would strongly dislike this type of cruise.

This cruise ship looks so pretty, clean, and i so want to just hop thru my tablets screen and join you both! I am so happy that you both are getting these cruises in, and even though you have to go thru so much covid testing, and still must wear masks in certain area, to me it seems worth it! Hello Ben and David, First of all I LOVE YOU TWO!!! I have never wanted to go on a cruise. It seems like it would be so crowded! You guys make it seem perfect. I am addicted to watching your videos, now I can go on a cruise and laugh because you have such great sense of humor!

Currently they are only sailing with around 350 passengers instead of the 930 max passengers. There are no inside cabins which makes the ship seem bigger as well. If another cruise line like NCL or Carnival were to purchase one of these ships, they would probably add rooms to the interior to bring in more passengers. These ships also have a lot of open space everywhere on the ship for you to just sit down and relax. The Explorers Lounge is one of my favorite places due to the fact that people don't really congregate there thus being very spacious and quiet, and the views are incredible.
