I love how beautiful your embarkation day was. Happy Anniversary and so glad for this series to make its way to the channel. Alan have you tried the new Coconut Creamy Dr Pepper? Coke or Pepsi need to sponsor yall. That cheese roll look like them old dinner roles serve on the plane. You can give someone a concussion. Ok I’m saying hopeful for the bread. We just returned from Alaska on Ovation of the seas, big storm in the Bering sea, canceled 3 stops but did spend 3 hrs Juneau and 2 days in Victoria BC not the best time to cruise to Alaska

Hi guys, this was just a regular balcony, actually it’s considered an obstructed balcony. We really like the room. Wow Alaska and then New Zealand, that’s awesome! Alaska is beautiful and we’ve never been to New Zealand but would love to go at some point. We would tell you to have a great cruise but how could you not in Alaska and New Zealand lol. Happy Anniversary Shug and Alan! I did not quite understand the obstructed view cabin. Is that cabin considered an obstructed view cabin that you paid for? Thinking of booking the same cruise.

Hi Sheila thank you so much for the happy anniversary wishes. Yes this cabin is considered an obstructed view although there is very minimal obstruction when sitting on the bed you can’t even tell. The only thing you can’t see is the water directly below your balcony. It’s an awesome Cabin. Keep in mind that the cabins below us are also obstructed balconies but when they stand on their balcony they see a big lifeboat in front of them and can’t see much else. Luck of the draw I guess lol. Thank you for watching 😊

Hi KevieArms, thank you so much. We were told the Cruise was running behind so we had to wait a while before boarding. I would say it probably took about an hour which is the longest wait we’ve had in recent memory. Hopefully yours will go a little smoother. Have a great cruise and thank you for watching 😊

We literally just got off the Ovation of the seas, We sailed from Hawaii to Vancouver and booked our Alaska cruise smh but on the Celebrity ship. We were going to do this sailing but the Celebrity ship sailed the following day which met our schedule time frame

Hi Rose, we went to Juneau, Sitka, Skagway, Victoria British Columbia, and Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier. Shug gets sea sick also. She uses a motion sick patch behind her ear prescribed by her doctor. We bought excursion tickets through the cruise line and we also got excursion tickets from one of the booths at the port in Juneau. Thank you for the questions and have a great cruise. 😊

For this trip, we used a shuttle from the hotel, which was a paid service to get to the cruise port and then we paid Royal Caribbean to get on the bus to take us back to the airport. The other option we use frequently is either Uber or Lyft.
