My Viper v2 pro's scroll wheel died within 1 month (double scroll + reverse scroll) And the hyperpolling dongle has very big disconnection and pairing issues The mouse itself is good and faster that gpx2 but very un ergonomic and starts paining my hand within a few hours I would still say gpx2 is better because it doesn't have any outright issues If sora v2 actually had a higher polling rate i would ditch both and get that (but it is still on 1000hz and no update on if it will be upgraded or have a new dongle for purchase, which is very bad since it launched such a while ago)

@@sethviews, Yeah I got the Sora V2 in the beginning of February. Definitely a fantastic mouse but very different shape wise. The Sora definitely feels smaller and designed for claw. It's almost too light to me. It feels cheap because of the low weight but still a great mouse. The build quality and tech on the V3 is better. And if you have even close to large hands I'd say the V3 for sure. Again they're both great mice but personally I would pick the V3. Smaller hands and exclusively a claw gripper I'd say the Sora. Can't go wrong either way honestly. Also the Sora as of now is only 1K if that matters to you.

@@boardzy Yes, you need to create profiles per game. But it's a small hassle to create 1 or 2 profiles for you FPS games. I just use 2K for CS2 and everything else operates at 1K. I've had no bugs at all with it. Works perfectly on my end.

I've tried to clean and wipe it many many times but it still shows. I was first thinking this might be some juice from the internals (battery) but, idk... i'd post a picture of it here if it would be possible.

Pretty sure that stain mentioned is just slight rubbing on the pad in that area which polished it. Don't have mine yet but from what I've seen it looks like the plastic somewhat dips down in that area? Either way seems more like polished plastic and nothing to be concerned about.

I have 19x11cm hands and I find the Viper V3 Pro great for fingertip. I've always wanted wider than average fingertip mice and this fits the bill. It's a tiny bit longer than I'd like but I can do everything I want with it and the performance is just unparalleled.

Be careful, as someone who used and loved the Razer Viper Ultimate and the v2 since launch, the v3 is much larger and doesn't really feel like its a part of the viper lineup anymore. Great GPX alterative.

Been using my V3 for about a week. Overall, I think GPX wins for me in terms of shape.. its just so comfortable and I am much more consistent with it while the v3 takes a little for me to warm up and while my aim has higher peaks at times it also is much lower points.

Imo a good mouse for your hand is a mouse that you can get used to pretty much immediately without even trying. I just got a pulsar xlite v3 es recently and i can use it pretty much immediately without even warming up to the shape. My main has always been GPW and now GPX2 for so many years and even I can tell its not the absolute best shape for me despite performing the best on it. I still perform consistently better overall on the gpx2 because imo, its just a better mouse all around with a snappier sensor, better wireless stability and surprisingly, sturdier. The xlite dongle is massive and its less stable than my gpx2. I can feel something is off when i put the dongle a lil bit too far away from the mouse while the gpx2 still works amazingly well when the dongle is plugged in the back of my pc mainboard. But still I've been using the xlite a lot more than the gpx2 recently because I have to spend less effort using it, while with the gpx2 i get tired faster. Comfort is my no.1 priority rn.

Why do most mice still use mechanical wheel encoders? Optical encoders are far more reliable. Is this because of the feel and price? I don't want to go with heavy G502x or Basilisk to get freakin optical scroll wheel. Zowie and Vaxee are kinda extreme in their plug-n-play philosophy, I want at least some customization. Some Cooler Master mice have optical wheels, but they are mostly shit. What am I supposed to buy? Wired g502x with awful stiff cable because it's lighter? Come on

I was thinking of Lamzu, they have optical encoders and optical switches. With a customization. I'm coming from Viper mini. Scroll is a complete dud, going up and down. But switches work perfectly like it's day 1. I'm not going back to mechanical switches either. But I'm not sure of the longevity from this company. Aside from scroll, Viper mini is a real trooper since release date. Mouse paid for itself tbh.

I have small hands and the v3 pro still feela great. Both the DAV3 and the V2 pro feel too large for me to handle, but the shape of the v3 pro feels great. I would say that a V3 pro mini would be optimal for me, but I've switched from a Lamzu Maya to the V3 pro and have had no issues. Very good mouse.

I switched from the GPX to the DAV3 around a year ago... actually bought the Superlight 2 and the DAV3 at the same time, and once I used the DA, I couldn't go back. This mouse interests me as my biggest complaint with the GPX is it always felt slightly undersized. Kind of a weird question, but you mentioned the included grip tape is kind of crap, is it different than the included tape with the DA? I ask because I actually found the included tape with the DA to be superior to any other tape I've tried (included or aftermarket) and it's kind of necessary for me as I'm someone who doesn't feel like I have good mouse control without it.

I bought the v3 from Best Buy, I played with it for a month and I ended up returning because I couldn’t get used to the shape. To clarify my experience, the default razer dongle works perfectly with viper v2 pro and has no issues. But it is just 1000hz I got the hyperpolling dongle for 4/8kz and it just keeps giving nonstop problems. I thought it would be my unit but after checking forums it's the same for everyone Though since viper v3 pro default dongle comes with 4k i guess it shouldn't be an issue However i still wouldn't give razer a chance because of their scroll wheel issues (both by viper v2 pro and viper mini wired instantly had this issue within a month) Does anyone have any good suggestions for something like sora v2 but with 4-8k out of the box ?

Simply rounding the front of the mouse would solve this issue. Razer limits the audience with this decision. Gpx is really almost a one size fits all. The hump even hits the hand better. My hands are over 21cm so I’m not imagining this. I sent it back after a week.

I’ve had two G Pro Superlights, and both had double-click issues after a year of usage. Before the Superlights, I had a G502 Hero and a Glorious Model D, and they both also had the same issue. Warning: The warranty of Razer is a scam. I was in love with my Basilisk v3, until 2 months before the 24 month warranty expired, the middle mouse started giving me double-clicks intermittently, or not trigger at all. After almost two weeks of emails with support, they announced that they will not honor the warranty, because i have purchased it at an "unauthorized seller" (CSV is one of the most popular online shops in Germany - unauthorized my ass). The mouse is not reliably usable anymore. Razer support is a joke and borderline shady with their strategy of letting the customer jump through hoops hoping they give up. 15 years ago i had problems with a Naga because of cheap micro-switches, so it's not the first time i've been disappointed by this company. But now it was the last time i ever bought a Razer product.

I told you about the scroll wheel issue on the Viper V2 Pro dude! They all are defective. If you get the problem within warranty period , you will have to put up with Razer´s hideous customer support, but if you dont, then youre screwed.

But what if the price difference is 50euros? Because I just bought the GPX Superlight 2 for 129euros and I can only find the viper v3 at 169-179euros. I'm a GPX Superlight 1 user for 3 years that just bought the Superlight 2, and the most noticeable thing about it is the loud right/left clicks.. I dont remember if the S1's were like this at first, but I can clearly hear the difference between the 2 (with the new ones being much louder), so I was wondering if they might get quieter after some use? That would be my main issue and why I'm watching videos comparing them to the Viper v3 (which are the most similar/best mice I can find), but I guess I can just "get used to it" since a 50euros difference is quite of a big deal.

When you said you try finger tilling or clawing the G X PRO and you would end up holding it sideways I felt that😂 Honestly the Razor v3 sounds like a better option for me. I’ve only ever used a the Super light and I feel like it’s too small width wise and it’s also not tall enough to properly claw for me

Hey! currently using the Hayate otsu soft with tiger arc 1s but I want to get the Zero, what feet would be the best option? I don't want to use tiger ice feet, as I want a little more control but don't want a complete "mud" setup (if I were to keep my arc 1s on with the zero. Would normal corepads be the play? And would the static friction be bad with the corepads x zero soft edit: I mainly play Valorant and other tac shooters

Atk (vxe and vgn) is gonna release a 3950 mouse called X1 it’s significantly smaller than the v3 pro but the plot is that the shape is more similar to the gpx so it’s not really a v3 pro shape

Man this is such a good mouse! Better than any other mouse I own! And I own more mice than this guy. I own 6 GPX differently moded and I feel that for my hands v3 pro kicks it out of the park. It’s very well balanced. This guy is right though that you can fell the difference going from 60 to 55 to 49 grams.

The stain is you picking the mouse up and putting it down sideways could be you just tilt the mouse alot so it rubs on the pad or the skates are too thin, every one of my gpxs has this "stain" on the left bottom side, hope this helps.

I just went through my 5th GPX mouse, with all 5 having scroll wheel issues within 3-4 months of receiving them. I am definitely throwing my GPX out for this. Great review!
