It's huge that other companies are starting to use the same base that artisan is. The base of the artisan pads is half of the reason why I dont mind spending so much for those pads. You dont realize how good it is until you use it. No other pads base comes close and I've tried many pads. It sticks to your desk but doesnt leave any residue or anything
@grant58642 жыл бұрын
Honestly I've tried well over a dozen different mousepads and I've never had an issue with the base of a mousepad sliding in actual gaming use. The artisan base is great (you can tell when just trying to "peel" it off the desk) but it's pretty overkill. Maybe the material of my desk helps, but that's just my two cents.

Doesn’t get much attention but honestly try the madcatz glide if you don’t mind rough texture. I have an artisan hayate otsu and hien and i honestly prefer the glide compared to both. It’s the most consistent pad I’ve ever used and doesn’t get affected by sweat like most pads. Even the artisans get affected by sweat. I have yet to notice it on the glide in game. If you end up trying the madcatz glide, let me know if you feel the same way too. The base also is nonslip like the artisans and it has great stopping power while also being fast. It doesn’t feel like it’s trading stopping power for speed and Vice versa it’s weird. I don’t get why it doesn’t get as much attention as all these other pads
