Thanks Mufti for having good lectures. 👍🏼 Imagine you showing off your good deeds and everyone knowing that showing off is a bad deed, you think you impressing people and it's the opposite. Some people might hear this and not want to do good in public because they may think it's showing off. Let's do good whether people watching or not, don't do it for others, do it for Allah. Salat, sadaqa, zakat, hajj is for Allah.

No, do it for others because you want to help. Just that, because you really care and want to help, for no other reason. Not for Allah. Allah is seeing not only that you are helping others but he sees if you do it out of empathy and compassion. And if that’s the case Allah will reward you in the way he wants it. That is Islam.
