Great vid guys if you are coming to sa check out a couple are free point sturt coorong, river Loxton thieles reserve, neds corner, rapid Bay, Aldinga Beach. Encounter Bay. Wauraltee last camp day 3rd Feb 2025, then it closes due to council profiteering. Mannum is also a good spot, weekends is busy water and dump point at footy oval. Cheers p

Hi guy's Good job on the paddling, poor D-man if shits going to happen it's Derrick who cop's it . Funny as but ,You both turned it around 👍👌, Your such a water baby Sue. Head's up im in South Australia n as of February 3 2025 there will be a permanent ban on camping at Wauraltee beach including Second beach, large camping vehicle's/caravans, campervans,motorhomes, Tent trailers not allowed anytime day or night. Daytime vehicle access will remain for boat launching n recreation. All other beaches are fine. Take care of ya selves n stay safe and can't wait to see next upload Cheers wazza

Bad luck re the prop , perhaps a spare one with as spare nut and split pin in the boat when you go out in the boat . Not to worry , you’re safe and your boat is safe and you have brightened our Sunday with your episode . Loved the video , stunning drone footage .

Oh dear. I've done a lot of boating & know how it feels when you do something silly. I dropped the anchor over the bow one time to do skme fishing. After ten minutes we were still drifting. Yep....I hadnt secured the rope to the boat & lost the lot. Thanks for sharing guys. Love your episodes. All the best for a prosperous new year 😊

Lovely Ep and spot Guys, Bad luck with the prop, I always carry a spare prop and nut and its gear in my tinny, Great squid fishing and whiting and crabbing at inskip in the Winter no Midges or march flies.

You really need to get a proper set of oars and then you can go against the current and wind. Thank goodness it was a nice day otherwise there could have been tragic circumstances. I agree. As I said in the episode it could have been a worse outcome but fortunately it wasn't. We could have thrown the anchor and we have flares and an uhf radio. If were a lot further out or over at the island when its happened im sure one of them would have been used or if we were lucky a passing boat could have helped us. All learning and taking these lessons on board for future.

Inskip is such a great place to camp we love it up there. Just wish there was less restrictions on dogs. Jealous that you guys are heading to SA we love it there. 2025 will be WA for us. Have a safe New Year team. Matt and Leisa.

Just as well, the prop came off here, not of the coast in W.A. Slide the prop up the spline tighten the nut & fit a new stainless split pin the prop can't fall off .safe travels

You can spend ages following the SA coast line then follow the Murray river then theres the Flinders Rangers , and still you'll miss out on the other places in between and on the sides , shes a big place guys our SA state is amazing 😊

Coming to SA don't expect to camp at Wauraltee Beach... CLOSED from 3 February 2025. to on the Beach camping due to the amount of rubbish and other human waste left in the sand dunes. Camping in the council campground before the beach itself, will still be available.
