Boat Life Without My Wife - A Sailing Britican Channel Update

This week marks one year since Kim and Sienna left the boat. Sienna is loving land and enjoying middle school. Kim has acclimated herself to suburban life. And now it's down to me to finish our Sailing Cruiser Experiences on Britican, sell our beloved boat, and transition to a situation where I have a better balance between boat and family life.
In this video, crew member, Jason, exposes my poor diet and increased trips to the Soggy Dollar, since Kim left. Who can blame me? At least I'm still smiling, laughing, and loving the boat life. And Kim will be out to visit soon. All is good.

Simon did you consider doing Britican Experiences out of Chesapeake Bay? So you don’t have to sell Britican. Maybe like Morse Alpha expeditions who do their sail training in the north east rather than the Caribbean.

Hey Andrew. Yes, we did consider that. After sailing in the Caribbean for almost 10 years the Chesapeake just doesn't seem appealing. It's not 'cruising' for us and our passion for the lifestyle wouldn't work. Also, there are so many complications with exporting the boat into the US, Britican is too big to go many places, and sailing off the east coast isn't very fun. Thank you for the suggestion. Simon
