I'm not fond of cities. The more remote I am, the happier I am. But that does not work for a lot of people. So if it works for you, that is wonderful.

Raw steel shavings will rust real quick and quicker if you are anywhere near a salty environment. I love your maintenance videos so keep them coming. I’m about to buy own boat soon and I’ll be doing my own. Be safe and have fun, cheers

Once again, an excellent step by step presentation. Steel hulls have their eccentricities and you’re educating many of us. P.S. Sonia is going to get how big?!

Hey Jonathan, it’s always nice to receive your supportive comments! As they say, steel is real! Bearded dragons grow quickly, looking back Sonya was so tiny when we got her. Cheers mate, Josh

Nice video - missed you! Grinding shavings certainly do rust quickly - I had a boat near me in a marina grinding and covered my deck without me knowing it - next day was horrible!

Just throwing this out to you. If you young people need to go ashore, for a crazy night together, like um....well you work it out. It involves sand,, I can babysit Sonja..free. No charge. My passport is valid for a while yet. Yep us grandparents still remember how to babysit. But seriously, thank you again for sharing. Love every second of each episode. Take care and all the best from across the ditch.

A bit of phosphoric acid would clean off the rust stains. Rinse it off well after use with water. Test a little spot first to make sure it won’t affect the paint finish - it shouldn’t.

Hi Josh and Phoebe and Sonya. This comment is for episode 48. YT has blocked us. I kinda see the reason, for the need to blur things, but surely me saying "Love to Sonja, is acceptable?? Anyway great that your friend and her kid were able to join you guys, and enjoy the experience of free living. Loving your channel ❤ guys. This comment is for episode 48. All the very best.

You can use oxalic acid to remove the rust stains off the gel coat.

Why do I feel that so many of the little asides between you two are slightly off color? It might be Pheobes mischievous sounding chuckle I think. I don't know if I ever said anything about it but I originally checked out your site because I thought the name was pretty cool. Kudos. Also, I didn't know Yachties even owned socks. Topsiders man!! Love ya. Stay safe. 🙏❤

In the U.S. there is a product called CLR, it should remove rust on paint. I see many products with identical packaging with only a different name. In Australia I see a set of battery powered tools that are with identical features with a different name to the one I use in the U.S.. Some research might show the Australian name.
