Sweet Madame Blue would rule on the mando...PLEASE figure that one out!!! I love that Loar, it really helps me get the right sounds out of mine because the voicing is so near the same as mine...I know if mine doesn't sound the same as what I'm hearing, I'm doing it wrong! Lol!

love this song! Its kinda funny cause I only learned about it the other day when I watched your top fives videos. I've been playing mandolin for about a year now and im only now really starting to mess around with chords and double stops. strumming too is a new skill for me so this lesson and the going to California has been helping with that too. one thing I was wondering, I feel like the open G and open D are ringing out a lot and its drowning out the A and E strings. any suggestions form anyone? or is it a thing where the more I do it the more consistent the strum/sound will be? Thanks for the lessons, and thanks to anyone who has some advice!

Well, I wish I could do that. But actually, KZbin has a button at the bottom to slow down videos. Try it! Or you could buy the Vidami Blue device, which also has that function.
