Never see this much action in Seattle this time of year.

Hi from Michigan - All our ramps are frozen solid. Like 👍

When you have no fenders, having the wind keep you off the dock is the way to go sometimes 🤷♂️

If we didn't have clueless boaters we wouldnt have these videos, for us perfect armchair commenters.😅 00:18 I am blown away how 99% of "boaters" do not drape the dock line around a dock cleat or piling to stop & CONTROL the boat. Watch any fuel dock deck-hand... it's how they do it. It's COMMON SENSE. But "these people" all stand erect & pull on the dock lines. The guy at 03:22 does the right thing except he/she ties the cleat.... all he had to do was walk up towards the ramp & drape it a wrap & a 1/2 on a forward cleat. That one legged dude did absolutely NOTHING. Cleat the bow line, & reverse the engine to pull the stern around... marroons

After another round of failures, these boaters should hang around the docks and watch and see how to dock successfully. Granted, there was a mild breeze this day but a lot of FL boaters cannot dock easily in calm wind/current. Knowing how to dock will make the end of day stress free.

That's why I always do almost everything by myself and I'm just fine. For the last 45 years when I was a young wooper at the tender age of 18

Why can't they attach some thick rubber blocks to the metal boat destroyers at the end of the dock?
@quantumss2 күн бұрын
Because they simply dont give a shit.
@notetoself5474Күн бұрын
Because it's Florida. It's almost a requirement to smack the dock. I've never seen anything like it anywhere else.

The movie... "Clueless in Miami"!!! Gets on the dock with the boat perpendicular to the dock??? Only one bow line in the hand??? No stern line??? Wind & current purposely working against the efforts & don't understand or realizing it??? Not one fender in sight??? Nor brains in their head!!! What a Florida SNAFU!!! YIKES!!! 😮

Pay $300k for AMP boat but can't spend $50 for a good set of fenders. Seeing the capt fight the current and wind to dock rather than taking the other dock tells me everything about him.
@RadioguyJКүн бұрын
That was the AMP photo boat, out taking pictures for their website and marketing materials. Not the boat owner.
@aaron-fauthКүн бұрын
@@RadioguyJ The company still owns the boat.

I see no one in Fla. knows what a spring line is. If you pull the boat from the center, the whole boat follows. As for the AMP boat? If that was a rep for the company driving, he should be embarrassed and the video they were shooting deleted.
@mikem14362 күн бұрын
Spring line and some fenders, let the boat's engines do the work.

Second dudes trying to tie the bow up to the first cleat on the dock! WTF?
@mikem14362 күн бұрын
Agree. Having the mid-cleat attached up further on the dock would have made it to swing the boat onto the dock with the engines.

The last one, boat was poorly trimmed with the number of passengers on the bow, and really none on the stern.

If that dude had the concede to jump into the boat with a bad ankle then he could have most certainly tied the boat up? 🤷
