In this video, I have compared boAt Watch Storm ( which is launched recently ) with doctor's most preferred clinical equipment like mercury blood pressure apparatus (manual), Omron electronic BP apparatus, and Easy Care pulse-Oxy meter. I have given my honest opinion about this watch that should we purchase this watch in 1999 rs (now its price is 5990 rs) is this worth or not? During this test I came to know that watch is not much capable of checking Blood Pressure accurately but it gives almost accurate results for SPO2 ( blood oxygen level ) and Heart Rate ( Pulse Rate ), I have almost discussed its built quality and display/screen quality. It comes with very good smart features like call, message (Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, etc.), music control, alert vibration, and much more but it lacks in a display as it comes with LCD display it doesn't look premium but the design is good.

Bp should be monitored on the wristwatch at heart level or the reading is not very conclusive hence it is recommended to keep wrist on your chest while checking for better accuracy

The comparison was great but when it comes to heart rate don’t trust these cheap watches during exercise, as you sweat the heart rate accuracy becomes really low. Mi , Boat and other cheap brands are not accurate when it comes to sleep and heart rate . Just use it as a step counter . Do not trust it fully

You are absolutely correct. Same are my finding with crossbeats ignite watch. Heart rate and oxygen saturation are nearly accurate but BP measurement is very inaccurate with the smart watch. I am a doctor.

In order to check the blood pressure in boat storm watch, You have to place the wrist with the heart to measure the blood pressure. Then it will show correctly.

A wrist based optical sensor cannot match a blood pressure monitor because the medical ones use pressure sensors and the watch uses a light based sensor so it can never be accurate

I can say this because I have a chest heart rate monitor which are the most accurate devices as they are near your heart. The most accurate heart rate from a wearable is from the Apple Watch. Please do not trust these wearables during exercise
