Nice,Guys! I've been wondering about that lake For about 2 yrs now. I have a pontoon and seadoo. Have a river lot with a boathouse that I keep the pontoon in. It's easier to just drive down and hop on the boat ready to go. We have a state park 15 minutes from home with a beautiful lake! Hardly anyone goes there. It has a lodge,rustic cabins and luxury cabins on the lake with a boat dock. We spent many vacations there when the kids were growing up. They absolutely loved it. Tubing behind the seadoo,especially! I was the only one to pull them so I would spend tons of time sitting in the hot sun. It's stressful pulling them too. Don't want to hurt em on that tube. Great Video and I am glad to see everyone having fun!

I used to live on Douglas Lake n the big house you said looked crazy was built for a surgeon who put blood red counter tops in,not sure if he still owns it,I member the old steel bridge should have left it for a walking bridge

We stayed at that hotel two weeks ago. Too crazy seeing you there! Resort gives you free pizza on check-in. Free breakfast. Free boat ride every night at 5 and free dessert when you get back...and of course the beautiful mountain and lake views. Glad you enjoyed your voyage.

We always rent boats from that marina, they have great boats & great prices. They are so much fun to take in the back water there and swims off of too. Plus, the tube rental is so much fun too.

Such a beautiful area and views! Is a boat license required to rent a boat there? My granddaughter and husband have a pontoon boat here in central Alabama and it’s always a treat to go for a ride. They usually go to a certain spot on the lake where everyone seems to congregate and stop the boat and go swimming. It looked wonderful. I could tell everyone really seemed to enjoy themselves. What a fun day!
