I was checking their their from the link you provided. I noticed that both seniors 65 and over and veterans are half price. That is awesome. What a relaxing way to spend some time going up the mountain on the sky lift then spending some time at The Hawks Nest. The ride back down has some beautiful views. This is a nice addition to the Wears Valley area which is really growing!

My husband and I did this back in September on our way into Townsend! Beautiful ride, and he got his jollies as he used to work at the Skylift In Gatlinburg. Last time I rode one was Ghost Town. Very nice people and an awesome experience!

Yay! How wonderful! The tree with the big leaves is call Princess Tree, has purple flowers followed by nuts, grows super fast and most consider it a "weed tree".

I would like it. Peaceful instead of hectic like the other ones have become. Make a food stand and they would be good. I go up these to be peaceful and look at the mountains so i think its good. Would love to ride the horses next time we come. Keep it simple and dont block the views of the mountains like anakeesta has done for the rocking chairs. The view, rockin in chair eating a snack and sipping a beverage is why i go. Make sure there are ceiling fans in the gazebo in the summer to help keep away bugs. Need to trim the tops of some of those taller trees if you can so they dont block the views of the rockers.

That's more my speed. Been to Gatlinburg pigeon forge twice this year and the crowds were insane! You guys need to do a video on the best times to visit, when things are still open but not so crazy.

An hour and a half wait at the pancake house for breakfast,we ended up at mc ds for lunch and dinner because of the wait times at decent restaurants. The wife and I would love to go and be able to enjoy it without the crowds.
