My daughter took her son to Paris on 17th for his birthday. My grandson bought a statue of Eiffel tower it was 30cm in height. The security said the top part was a lethal weapon and confiscated it, leaving my 11yr old grandson bewildered with only the bottom part.🥺 Glad you had a great time and thanks for the ride.💚

Spotted Clive-the-Hat... also, im going to have a crack at making Socca at home, you have to let the batter sit for 24 hours... probably so it starts to ferment a bit. So thanks for introducing me to that! Agree, proper french bread is way nicer even when its stale, than UK bread. They have way higher standards not just on what goes in the bread but the quality of the flour etc too!

For travel, each time we travel to UK the flight alone is almost 14 hours rather than 2 hours, so as you might imagine, it is a long journey door to door. It was good to see you enjoying Nice. It is strange having warm weather for Christmas as a Brit right? (It will be 30+ degrees here on Christmas day. It just feels wrong even after so many years here.) Merry Christmas.
