Wow! Only you guys could make a Q&A so interesting. I love your format. It's a testament to you both that so many questions are about YOU rather than the boat. You both have infectious and interesting personalities. There are so many narrowboat KZbinrs but so many of us viewers want to know about you as people----not just about your boating knowledge. Kudos!

S.V.D.(season variable Depression) D.V.S....etc is a real thing (called different things by different folk!) or " winter Blues" as commonly named..... can actualy cause serious illness in some folk n shouldn't be dismissed.....at onset it can begin with just a general 'malaise'n feeling as if you on the edge of esculating,depressive down cycle. Most folk manage t adjust or tweek their activities n manage t recover quickly! It is directly caused by lack of real daylight exposure....(via eyes) . N something as simple as moving to a different region( north) where winter days are shorter can trigger it! ( e.g. London to Wales!) Rather than get so unwell chemical anti- depressants are needed there is a simple way t manage/ avoid it becomeing so severe which the majority of people respond well to! Put a proper "Day- light light-bulb" in the room you spend majority of time in (living- room/ Kitchen)....in main ceiling light or if you work static at desk f hours a day in that area. It should be of such a quality that Artists can use it by which t paint etc) as it does not corrupt colour like other bulbs .They usually have a blue film or blue glass...(modern L.E.D. claimed equivolent...not always adequate!)....have it on from when get up till begining of sunset...n use lamps f light when needed other times. Any increase in electicity cost is minimal...though bulbs will cost more than ordinary ones...but the benefits are imeasurable! Sometimes older folk who developing cattarachs can suffer with it too!

I wish people would stop asking others if they plan on having children. It's downright personal. Some people can't have children and wouldn't want to discuss their private health details and reveal their emotions relating to the subject. Some couples might be trying and struggling. Some couples just don't want them. Nobody should have to justify or explain their feelings on the subject. The world has enough people procreating for pity's sake. One couple here and there choosing not to isn't going to cause a population decline. 😂

Could we please have a link to your bread recipe - looks yummy and I love simple recipes (assuming it is!) On my journey from Bidford in Stratford to Droitwich Spa Marina, I loved it - I think one boat passed me in the whole 5 days! Winter has its advantages!!! And it was great as I was so new to it. I am looking forward to the warmer months but dreading all the boats around!! Also, still not sure about 'unofficial' mooring, i.e where I can moor that isn't specified with a sign post. (obviously not on bends, near bridges etc etc)

Just a Q&A session and just while doing mundane stuff as basic as the washing up, yet somehow you made it interesting and enjoyable - more so than others who do Q&A and include action clips from various memories or events to spice it up. Thanks for your vlogs. I too have difficult days and watching you both while cuddling my furbaby really helps I even laugh out loud sometimes! My fur baby had to be shaved just before Christmas leaving her shivering. Helpful tip. If you see an extra large fleece in the charity shop, buy it and cut the sleeve off at the shoulder seam, cut 2 holes for legs (head goes through the cuff) giving a toastie jumper for Rufus and can be washed easily. Also Amy, cutiderm sterile hydrocolloid adhesive wound dressings are basically gel plasters that can and will stay in place for upto 5ish days and great for those who can't wear plasters (psoriasis) and are great healers.
