Fill the filter with clean fuel before you install it

You can, Yon, but it makes an awful mess! Instead, after installing the new filter, I like to crank the engine briefly and allow the lift pump to draw fuel through the newly installed filter. Irrespective of how you install the new filter, bleeding air from the system will still be required.

Here, the diesel with that color is heating oil for homes, which cost a fraction of the fuel. Some trucks uses this trick to save money but If gov knows this, driver is in serious trouble

This is proper marine diesel being used in a marine diesel engine. Marine diesel has red dye in it simply because it's illegal for use in road vehicles.

BoatUS watch out in holland( or europe?) for a yacht you have to use the white(taxed) diesel or heavy fines will be given.
