Massage guns seems to be highly commodified. Sort of like phone ac adapters. There are many to choose from but none of them are all that different for another. I review a Bob and Brad T2 massager and take a look at the inside to see the quality of the parts.

Take apart the battery compartment. Those fail quickly and will need to be replaced.

I have q2 mini and it seems like the piston is stuck. It make a thumping noise. How would I fix it? It was working the night before and when I picked it up to use the next day it was thumping

Which one is better bob and brad T2 or cotsoco

Bob and Brad massagers seems a tiny bit better but not by much. Cotsoco is a very generic brand that sells them at rock bottom prices.

can the batteries go bad after a few months and can they be changed?

Batteries are not made to be changed although a handy person can probably do it. A few months of idle might be ok as long as you do not leave it to self discharge to less than 20% for more than a day. Self discharge rate varies.

I use 'these' (as in any massage gun really) when my muscles are extremely sore and they relieve the pain. That rarely happens though.
