Wow - I haven't heard or thought of this song in at least twenty years!! I clicked on the video because the title of the song was unfamiliar. As soon as I heard the first phrase of lyric with the music, it all came back (the song and memories of singing it in church during the 80's and early 90's) and I started singing with them.

Doug Oldham, Bob and Jeannie, really turned their backs on the Bakkers when they were forced out of PTL. Then they started to support Jerry Falwell, because now he controlled PTL, and therefore they would all still be getting pay checks through PTL. When PTL closed all of those people stopped getting paid by PTL , because PTL was no more. Anyone, who was getting paid by PTL, the singers, any body at that time knew what was going on at PTL. I am very much sadded that these three people choose not to remain friends with Tammy Faye. If you are a Christian like I am you forgive each other and reconcile friendships. You just do not forget about a person that was once a part of your life and move foward with your own life.

As weird as it may seem. They were friends. Or at least very friendly with each other from what I've seen with my own eyes. Definitely around each other in '03, '04, '05 ,and '06. AND even as recent as 2013 for as far as jim goes.(you know he's still around on TV) But before tammy faye died she was around bob and jeanne with roe and jim and lori. Dottie rambo and howard and vestal even jammed tight with tammy faye and tammy sue before tammy faye passsed. The gaithers kept alot of these people relevant too. Even Gary McSpadden that took over hosting the ptl show after jim and tammy were taken over by falwell. Weird seeing him and bob and jeanne sing with jim bakker and his new wife at his new Ministry after working for falwell during ptl's fall.

@@Hiwetbobcock89 , Before Falwell stole PTL, Tammy Faye was not a true Christian. I do believe she repented and lived a beautiful Christian life afterwards. My 1 complaint is Why did her husband allow her to remain on that cooking show when she was acting in a bizarre manner? It was wrong. May she RIP. "I Trust God With Me. " 🌲

Jim's biggest mistake was in trusting Jerry Falwell. Any successful Christian endeavor is ripe for criticism. I believe Jim & Tammy's hearts were in the right place but they needed a good accountant & lawyer to guide them. Look at the criticism of local churches - it will never end till God returns. There are times folks to keep your mouth shut & leave it to God

I often wondered over the years Bill Gaither invited Bob and Jeannie Johnson to be in different Home Coming Events and recorded projects, but not Tammy Faye. I will never understand why the Johnson's chose Bill Gaither over Tammy Faye. The reason I say this, because over the years I have never seen Tammy Faye make at least one appearance in the Gaither Home Coming Videos and DVDs that were released over the years.

Tammy was no ones good singer. Am thinking this is somewhere near the time she was carried off to Betty Ford.... She's truly walking all over Jennie Johnson with all that Off key singing she was known for!
