I'm an atheist but have always loved and admired this woman so much. She was so genuine and watching this she truly moves me. She had a great sense of humor and loved everyone. She didn't deserve what happened to her with ptl and cancer but she held her head up high and Marched on. Great woman and a real example of what a Christian is supposed to be.

Same here. I believe that a lot of the things she is saying are things you can bring to therapy instead of relying on religion. But the reality is in prison you don’t always have access, and maybe those ladies needed something to get them through. Someday people with hearts like Tammy’s won’t need to use religion to inspire and help, but no need to put down a woman who has already suffered much and passed away.

I just watched Tammy's interview with Pastor Steve but the comments are turned off there so I came here to say that I absolutely have loved Tammy Faye from day one of discovering her back in the day. She is a true Christian and the beauty she exusudes comes from within and shines on the outside as well. I too found out I was HIV positive in 1985 so seeing this struck a chord with me way back then. She exemplifies the meaning of a true Christian woman. So authentic and sincere so what you see IS what you get with Tammy Faye. She was taken too soon and had her own battles to fight but always considered others no matter what she was going through. God Bless her. She's definitely an angel in my eyes. I'm positive she's still doing the Lords work. I sure wish I could've met this glorious woman. ❤️🙏 Thank you Tammy for we were blessed just having you for the time we did have with you. I missTammy. You are missed.

Tammy was wonderful. A true Christian. I see some rude comments I really don't know why there here watching this unless they have nothing else to do but live criticizing people. I came to watch her songs and remember what inspiration she gave us. Tammy was progressive and non judgmental of anyone. Definitely ahead of the times. Her Christianity was real to everyone she ministered Gods love to people who had the doors of Christ's love shut in there face by religious prople. Gay friendly, she told everyone be who God made you to be. Tammy was herself and didn't change for any critics. My favorite song: The Sun will Shine Again

@tek56923 жыл бұрын
@@normanseagull4027 - not even the saints are perfect. She got caught up in materialism and paid the price for it--infamy and public shame. She ended her life as an ordinary middle class housewife. I love you so much Tammy Faye and I miss you. I honestly think the reason she turned to materialism while she was on PTL , because her marriage to Jim was broken for many years. I am not a minster and I do believe in Jesus and God, but there was a time in my life where I turned to materialism as a best friend because I was very unhappy. I learned how wrong I was many years later. I still like expensive things, but I learned to be humble and put God first.

Jerry Falwell kicked Tammy Faye's family out of their house in 1980's after the scandal broke, but he did allow them to keep their clothes. No other person has the right to force she/he out of their home. That house Tammy Faye lived in North Carolina in the 1980's was bought before PTL was even started. Jim and Tammy just added and remodeled it over the years and tv guest stayed in their own home.

I got saved listening to Tammy. Her compassion and sincerity drew me in. I like how she said with tears in her eyes that she wished she could take all of the women with her when she leaves. She shopped Marshalls and others where you can get high end clothes at discounted prices. She needed these clothes since she was on tv every day. She also gave most of the clothes away to anyone who she felt needed them. She grew up, the oldest of 8, with a lot of love but always had to make her own clothes. Also, I think Jim ran her ragged trying to build the biggest church allthough that was what was being expected by the higher ups. Tammy, because of her love, always tried to be there for us, to the point that it was detrimental to her health. Her later ministry just radiated love for ALL people. That is what the world wants to hear. That's what will bring people to Christ. That is what Christ taught us. I am sooo fortunate to be part of a church where all the pastors teach that. They say we need to love ALL people. They have also said there are people coming that won't be like the "typical Christian". I think the one thing Christians will be judged on is if we become responsible for turning one of these little ones away. Jesus said, if I be lifted up I will draw ALL men unto me. We do that by allowing the love of God to radiate to all those around us. God bless and may the love of God flow.

@apgx60322 жыл бұрын
In the bible there are many beautiful names given to God both in Hebrew and Greek and whatever one Tammy Faye choose to refer to her Heavenly Father as I’m quite sure HE loved it. Jehovah is actually a latinisation of the Hebrew Tetragrammaton YHWH. This was the original name of God revealed to Moses. In and around the 10th century vowels were added to give the pronunciation Yahweh. William Tyndale first introduced Jehovah into our English translations.
