Bob….I met you in Chattanooga TN with Randy Stonehill several years ago. It was the best concert I’ve ever experienced. Thank you for sharing your God given gift for us.

Been listening to this man of incredible talent for over 40 years - just simply the best singer-songerwriter I've experienced - his songs display such a realism as we live our Christian lives - may we always realize that God is good, life is difficult - never confuse the two - thank you Bob for sharing your talent with us !!

Thank you for using your gift. Well done good and faithful servant. We met briefly at a Minnesota concert one night. There were only a handful of attendees as a blizzard was in progress.

I met you, Bob, when you came to Appleton, WI around 1990 to sing at Calvary Chapel. You stopped by WEMI studios for an interview and I had a chance to tell you how much your ministry meant to me. I'll say it again 34 years later, thank you for sharing your heart and gift with us.

Bill ... Thanks so very much for "stopping by" and for commenting. This was pre-Covid house concert at my friend David Vaughn's house. He used to live in Buena Park but now in Texas. It's been a good chunk of time since I was last in Appleton, but I have many happy memories of visits there with Pastor Dwight and Calvary Appleton. And thank you for playing my music all those years ago. In a pre-streaming, all-on-our-phones world, radio was my only shot at getting heard beyond my own home! Blessings, Bob. (Costa Mesa, CA)

I am reminded of how in my youth I would listen the lively and mellow voice of Burl Ives. You sir give that gift and spiritual life and animation too. God bless you sir, and His shalom

At least a couple decades ago, I often joked in concert, "I'm the winner of the 'Doesn't He Remind You of a Young Burl Ives Contest!" ... Now, of course, the adjective "young" would be wholly untrue. A high compliment, indeed. He was truly a Renaissance Man (Musician, Actor, Voice-Over, etc.) ... and he, I believe, worked right until the end of a very full life. So may it be with me! Thanks again for the kind connection to such a legendary person! Best regards, Bob.

@@BobBennettMusic thanks for the note, good to catch up with you after all these years. I grew up in a Catholic church in my home town of Ventura CA, was an alter boy and did those things that were part of that system, even considered the Franciscan order and spent time in the summer of '68 at St Anthony's seminary in Santa Barbara. But like you by highschool I had distractions and didn't get back to what God was in my life until '75. God used a street ministry that had a coffee house gathering in Ventura and ran a discipleship house. We had a regular Gospel radio program and played your music, so I have known of you and your music for many years. Glad to hear you singing and taking advantage of the new fangled devices that have become a fixture in our world. The Gospel is (I think) rising again in relevance for our "modern" society and of course the world, your voice and message are a clear and timely solace to those in need. Again blessings and Shalom Steve Boyd in Spokane WA

I come to listen to Little Kate every time I’m missing my dad. He sent me this song just months before he passed away. My names Katie, and I’ve got two older brothers. I cry every time, but also feel so much closer to my dad. Thank you for writing that song.

Monday, November 21, 2022 - 2:38 PM PDT - Oh my, Dear Katie. I couldn’t be more honored, then to bring your Dad fondly to mind. I was so touched by this comment that I sent a screenshot to my Kate. If you email me, I will attach an MP3 of a recording I did at home and the lyrics. I would love to do this for you. Thank you so much for commenting. I am so very touched. I hope that you have a Blessed Thanksgiving. Bob. ( bob@bobbennett.com)

Bob "Benchmark" Bennett. The best singer-songwriter of all time. In my circle of music loving friends, we use Bob as the benchmark - 10/10 - and rate everyone else to that. No one else has yet reached 10. And we've been doing it for decades. Thank you Bob!

Years ago, my dear friend Greg, introduced me to the music of Bob Bennett. What a blessing that was to me. I lived in Paso Robles at the time and one day, several years later, walked into a cafe. Who was sitting there with his guitar, but Bob! I couldn't wait to tell Greg! Greg, who was a quadriplegic, has now gone to be with the Lord and is no longer bound by these "jars of clay." I think of my dear friend often, but especially when I hear the voice of Bob Bennett.

Thank you so very much. A friend of mine who is a prof at Biola alerted me to the Advent entry featuring "Jesus Christ the Apple Tree". I appreciate your listening! Is it too early for "Merry Christmas"? 🙂
@kelseyreed479316 күн бұрын
@@BobBennettMusic never too early. Or too late. (Dare I go into a Gandalf quote?). But truly: isn't Christmas a reality we can celebrate daily? Or to put it another way: for the Father, all times are "now"...we are just practicing and waiting for that to be true for us as well. ;)
