Bob you've been blessing me since the 70s first seeing you at Calvary Downey thank you I still love listening to you as much as I did the first time what an Angelic blessing thank you

is there a joy deep as sorrow ? yes ... Paul shows us the things of trouble we go thru now don't even compare to the joy we will have then. Even our Lord endured for the joy set ahead of Him. If it hurts this much now just think how wonderful it will be then. A woman hurts before the birth but forgets the pain when the child is born.

There are many Christian musicians, some very good. Bob is a musician of the temple, of the inner sanctuary of heart and soul with all the requisite skill that requires.

David; Yes he is. Been listening to Bob Bennett for close to 30yrs. My favorite musician and writer. His guitar playing is excellent. I saw him in the mid 1980's. Awesome person too. I got in the church he was playing at real.early and actually got to go in and listen to him warm up and tune up. I got to talk to him awhile. Such a beautiful person. His music has been a part of my life for yrs and continues to be.

@@jimchumley2982 Thank you Jim for your wonderful comment. It caused me to revisit Bob's performance which is superb in every way. Though his success bloomed in the 80's, his music is still relevant, maybe more so now than ever. Listening again with awe and profound respect.

Love your (Gods) music so much and throughout my yrs as a believer your lyrics have echoed through my mind, heart, soul and spirit. Love your guitar playing emensly. I have been playing harmonica for over 35 yrs and love writing songs. You are my favorite song writer and I believe a very prolific writer at that. Every time I hear you sing your song Come And See I think and can't imagine someone walking up to me saying come and see I want you to meet God, you know the one we have been waiting for all of our lives. I cant imagine Bob, can you? Blows my mind. Your music makes me think about truth a lot. I recieved Jesus as my Lord & Savior at the age of 24 on 12-26-1983. At the approaching age of 62 in Sept I am still walking down that narrow road with Yeshua and still in awe and wonder at this Awesome Lord and Savior. What a Lord and Savior we follow and what a friendship we have or can have with Jesus. I can tell by your writings you are indeed a friend of Jesus. SHALOM my brother and I pray you come out to Winchester VA are to play soon. I saw you and actually got to talk to you around 1985 before the show at Trio Episcopal Church. I now attend a non denominational church which I love. Take care my brother and hope to see you soon. In his precious Love I send you, In Yeshua AMEN!

Always have loved Bob Bennets lyrics and music, very inspiring and realistic. Saw him in concert at a church. Me and my friends got there early and got to talk with him. A warm and very friendly man. So awesome in concert. Love his jazzy guitar style.

So nice to hear you again Bob! You still sound so excellent as always! We did a recording in some studio many years ago (in the 80’s? I was pretty terrible but you were so kind to me) and it was amazing to meet you and watch you play and be ministered to by your beautiful music. Hope all is better than good with you and yours! God Bless! Vince

Bob's Songs From Bright Ave. record was just what I needed to hear way back when. But I wonder. It's fine to be transparent about the mess we've made of our lives. But aren't there songs to sing about growing beyond the mess?
